In for a few more coins. $600 seems like a good price to get some more coins pre-moon

man bitcoin is crazy.. $8 jump within 4 minutes of each other. it was 599.1 and now it is $608.4. may sound like a small number, but to jump by that amount is so volatile.

I look away for five minutes, and we've totally ricochet'd.
And suddenly BFX bounces off of $600.

lets be Realistic bitcoin isnt going to 10K this year

better sell all your bitcoins

I'll quote you on that one, for when the inevitable rally happens, and all caution (and sense) goes out of the window again...

my simple mind question:

If we all see the price in free fall, who buys on the way down?
Why not cancel all buy orders and wait for a better moment, because right now every minute you wait more is more btc for your buck.

very complicated...

A lot of people believe the moon is coming, and another bunch believe its going to crash a lot lower. Simple. Those buying now obviously believe they are buying near the bottom.

We're losing support. I can imagine a price of 601/602 in the next minute.

edit - there it was. And humongous fucking wall at 630.

Not really, on the way down, asks might be slow to follow so a swift partial recovery is not that out-there.

But obviously nobody really believes it that strongly hence low volume.

It is 4:00 am in China now.  The continuing drop in price at Huobi etc. for the last hour must be arbitragers tracking the fall at Bitstamp & c.

Could it be that there are two separate sources of gloom in the market, one in the "West" (Bitstamp troubles?) and one in China (the Caixin article?).  They take turns in causing individual traders to dump, and then each dump gets echoed on the other side by arbitrage and panic selling?

its just profit takers selling that bought in the run up from $340 back in april....there was always a chance this would happen if the bulls ran out of steam..no reason to panic....support will be found soon with volume to surprise.

Do USA merchants understand the value of Bitcoin?  AFAIK they ALL seem to only accept Bitcoins from US residents.  Overstock and now Expedia...

I don't get it.  What's forcing this behavior?  Obviously, the savings due to no fiat currency conversion provides a much bigger incentive to use BTC for international buyers than the incentive for US residents.

Who are the biggest merchants that accept international orders in BTC?
