Bitcoin is only down 4% from yesterday, goys!

...and 7% from two days ago. And 10% from two weeks ago... and 13% from a month ago...

Ahem... carry on!

...and 20% up from three months ago.

Oh, we're well on our way back to the $400s I'm afraid. Some people here seem to think I take pleasure in watching the price drop. I don't. I believe in bitcoin and that was the reason I invested in it originally... but obviously we've derailed at some point and mainstream adoption is looking less and less likely. Look at the devastation to the alt coin market over the past few days. This is what is happening to bitcoin, just on fast forward.

You know... the bigger they are, the harder they fall?

pff bitcoin is not some facebook or twitter useless scam desperate for mass adoption. it does NOT need the sheeps. it only need the world to fall apart economically.. Grin Cheesy

Well, what are the thoughts on breaking back I to the $400s?

We have a tripple bottom on this levels now. Wouldn't bet on sub 500$.

I should probably take out a max leveraged long.

This isn't a triple bottom. We smashed through it hours ago, all the way down to $520s. Now we're seeing a bounce, but there's no use fighting the tape. This trend will continue down.

How about three years ago?

Remember? Bitcoin was still a few months away from its "death", was declared a failure by many, and would never see double digits again.

After all, it was just a bunch of libertarian cryptogeeks and Silkroad druggies that were keeping it afloat.

Smart money dumped before it fell below a dollar again.

Gotta love the smell of panic in the morning.

Capitulation?  No.  Dip..?  Yep.

'The end'?  Oh please, get a grip!

Buying - looking nice and cheap to me.  Accumulation is the game, play it.  The big money is.

Fair enough. This is the best level to accumulate at, though? I could see it as a good long term play. But Huobi is bear flagging as we speak, and we are simply pausing on a major support, not even bouncing after a first wave down. I'd think we're at least going to the next support level.... 520-530. But very possibly 400s.

Yerp..What a night, huh? Grin

It was looking grim, and it seemed there was no buyers at 55x to discourage the bears. You guys think we have bottomed? I'm feeling it is not over yet. But China is sleeping soon, and we have some steam to blow off first...

IMHO it's 2011 all over again, the downtrend will continue ,
with a few bumps here and there

Good news is not enough any more to fuel the rise,
people who want to get into BTC still think it's expensive

Anything is always possible.  I've got 5k on the sides just in case, but if it doesn't, no big deal.

anthing is possible as is Zionisms conquest of jewmerica. With BRICS taking solid moves to counter the world jewry I'd put my money on dipping lower and lower until the Zionist Bulls are ready for moon preps

what's with the anti-semitism?

With sharp rebounds like the one we saw this morning, I feel like we are still not close to a capitulation point.

Emotions being the basis of trading habits? That sounds elementary and comparable to woman pmsing, I try to stick to the books and base my reasoning off of something more tangible. Inept trading habits are NOT habitually executed in my trade history fortunately but I always keep an ear to the pavement lest my perspective become concave or contrived for that matter

If we break into $400s this could trigger a lot of weak hands and we might just see $300 range coins again. If be a happy happy buying fool @$350-$399

Ease up.  27 pages so far today and the day is only half done.
I scrolled through all those pages checking posters's names, to see if one of the three or four people worth reading had contributed.
Nothing but the usual cataract of logorrhea and cutesy images.

All the people worth reading like TERA were driven away by the HODL-tards for giving contrarian views. After all the juvenile attacks against them, why would they come back? All you delusional bulls have each other now.
