Wouldn't a civil war cause BTC prices to go up?  Even the appearance of such?
Apparently not, because it's happening right now.
What it all about? Have I miss something?

FIX is like JSON, but is more optimized, and was specially designed for financial transactions and instrument static data. It is used by all the major banks for client links, and most equities and derivatives exchanges offer it as well. A Bitcoin exchange offering a FIX interface makes them more attractive to mainstream institutions.

Looks like a new low is coming. Asks rising on bitstamp, bids (being pulled)

Yep, 520 is a peice of cake. We'll be seeing 460-480 by this weekend, if not tonight.

Bears have momentum now. Without quality fud they will need to exploit that before long if they want to bring the price further down I think.

I didn't think we would see this last bear trap before the next bubble.

"before the next bubble"

...

...sorry, no more bubbles in bitcoin. just a slow bleed down back to where we started Sad

It's amazing how delusional they are. They talk about the next bubble as if it's guaranteed to come. It simply isn't. We've been going down for 9 months. Now we're simply at the point the smart people understand there simplu won't be another bubble anymore. They're pulling out. We will go down very fast coming few weeks.

It's over. I'm already investing in other and better things.

How are those "cheap coins" at 560 doing for you guys?

Somebody here recently commented that all/most of the btc infrastructure was being placed in the US.

Non US and where it's needed now, Argentina and by who it's needed, the under banked.

I think that's the first time I went to coindesk this month.

But with your pocket change and changing your mind every second, I wouldn't call it investing.

in the world of bitcoin, a $10 rise following a week long downtrend is called a huge rally, and ghetto rats looting and burning down their own neighborhoods is called a "civil war".  Cheesy

That kind of trolling isn't nearly good enough to get the job done.

Too many people are getting first hand reports of what's going on to be fooled.

You'll need to up your propaganda game if you want to be effective.
