lol, OKcoin does 2-5k btc per HOUR and Huobi does 1-2k, Ethereum moving 3,700 coins is so insignificant it's not even worth mentioning. The chinese are in full control of the markets, Stamp and Finex are just sitting there following their every move.  Nothing this side of the water has anything to do with what is going on in my opinion

Those numbers for the Chinese exchanges are not correct. The real volume is way lower. Like many times lower.

@gaybabytrollwholiveswithhissheepmummy

Could you provide proof for that?

china going under, again.

brace yourself.
China bans Bitcoin!

Just again? :-)

Downward momentum on these China Bans is lowering on each repeatition, so in a few month we could could reach a reversal where momentum turns upside on China Bans ;-)

no china bans this time.

I am speculating that AM is dumping coins to lower and slow down difficulty, and make their new miners more affordable.

this is the last period with BTC above $500

arepo already killed himself back in May, and there will be a lot more suicides coming

What a disturbing comment. You're a real charmer.
That was really disturbing sentence, gotta admit that. But you're wrong and it's likely to be last time under 500 Wink

SHOULD I BUY 1.5BTC right now for $845?Huh (BTW im in the uk and the price is £338/btc)

Only if you aren't already AML/KYC'd at an exchange. That's a pretty hefty commission.

GO to this place if you're in the UK - it does take a commission, but as soon as your bank transfer hits - they send you BTC - usually it takes less than an hour - once you're registered.

http://www.speedybitcoin.co.uk

Currently £318 - I use them when I can't get fiat in fast - it is NOT the cheapest rate - but it is close enough (and better than you quoted).

Plus when you see a dip - it is a godsend.

EDIT: and when I say 'less than an hour' I mean from when you send your bank transfer! Smiley

I need an invitation code
Sorry Ibrahim - ben on there a couple of years and this is new - they seem to have a queue for new registrants!  Apologies - but do try!

fake or not is irrelevant really, regardless of the validity of their volume, OKcoin control the market with it and unless Stamp/Finex grow some balls and do their own natural thing then the situation wont change.

It's not exactly fake.

Ha, ha! Good one. But don't believe that there are a lot better economists outside. If I look there, it's more aristocracy than quality. So you should extend your comparison ;-)

I would say that Amazon would love to enable BTC, but TPTB doesn´t let this happen.

My theory is that if Amazon accepts BTC, they won't simply be plumbing Coinbase into their existing system, they will be wanting to extract every last $ and BTC they can so we'll see something extremely vertical possibly up to and including an Amazon exchange. Make no mistake, Amazon and Ebay/Paypal is the next big tech company battle getting ready to face-off. If Amazon can find a way to use BTC to gut Paypal, it'll happen.

Big new orders between 450$ and 470$ on finex.  Cool

Same on Stamp!

1000 btc bid at $470.05 & 269.31 at $470 just to get things started.

Not necessarily real and could be pulled the second someone takes a nibble, but certainly looking a bit nicer than yesterday
