Here is my predictions:

If we go to the 300's, we may go to zero.
If 300 holds, we may not go to zero.
If we go to 0, we may or may not go up again.
Price will almost always be lower than ATH
If we go to 2000, we may go to 1000000, else not.
Medium term means any point in the future, near or distant, or never.
If the Internet disappears, we must revert to one of the many historical networks, or invent another.
If electricity disappears, the universe will also disappear.
If the world as we know it disappears, we will have a world that we don't yet know.
If humanity disappears, none of this will matter.

This is the kind of prediction that could drive you to sell close to the bottom.

The trend was down, it hit major resistance, it failed to rally on good news. Why would you be long in this market?

Why are you trying to catch a falling knife? This might be the bottom but its highly unlikely its the bottom. It could go down another $50,$100 or $200 before it reaches a bottom and finds support.

VC's are not invested into Bitcoin but into companies that deals with Bitcoin, coinbase/bitstamp will function regardless the price is $1000 or $100 same goes for bitpay and all other companies.... most of you here don't spend any time studying all technical and ideological aspects of Bitcoin and think that Bitcoin survival is related to its price only, which is very wrong... there is more to Bitcoin than its price.

We're seeing the "anger" stage right now. Butt hurt hodlers are lashing out at the bears, but really they have nobody to blame but themselves.

I saw the writing after the failed rally in May and cut my looses while we were still above $600. Why others didn't... blind faith, I guess.

Actually ShroomsKit has a point.  Both traders and holders rely on buying low ONLY in the hopes that it goes up from there.  But what if it doesn't?

From a holder perspective, anyone that bought any bitcoin this entire 2014 year, would be sitting on some kind of loss right now, unless you just happened to be so lucky to get one at $389 in one 4 hour period this year.  Think about that for a moment.  Any of the hundreds of thousands of new bitcoiners that bought bitcoin this year have never seen a bitcoin go up in price, EVER.  Only down.

Shrooms, remember when I was saying we we're gonna go down, like 3-4 months ago? And you we're like where's the source? It's an opinion, learn to deal with it without needing a damn source for everything. The source is based on my opinion.

We are allowed to speculate in the speculation thread, right? Or do we have to have some kind of magic 8 ball, so all of our speculations aren't myths?
