Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the
subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The
subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

Mel Gibson is not a Scot. I think he's actually Irish-English. No!? shocker? I thought all actors only played roles portraying people that are from their home countries... (ps born in NY and lived in Oz since a sprog) You wouldn't believe the number of Scots who think he really is Scottish.....

Obviously today continues to prove that the people that actually care about bitcoin, are orders-of-magnitude hopelessly outnumbered by people who could give 2 shits about bitcoin.
What a great community to be involved in.

They don't evaporate, rust or rot. Ergo, a store of value. What is wrong with you guys?
I have a bunch of rocks in my yard. They formed long, long ago. And they will be with us for a long time to come. How much are they worth to you? Depends on what kinda rock you have.... but probably about 1 doge?

(Beeing in in DOGE/PPC and USD felt really good the last days btw )Has Loaded actually been around? I haven't seen that guy since Gox. And he always seemed to keep massive amounts of funds on Gox. I assumed he got Goxxed badly and accordingly disappeared, like many others.....

Just kidding. Feel free to donate to me for the effort This is the real recovered QR code. It's not a bitcoin address. My android app translates it to a number: 13501619And there are currently 13,280,425 Bitcoins. These numbers are suspiciously close. I think Jorge knows something.

I think bitcoin needs these cycles. This is how you distribute coins. Either we will face complete failure or sooner or later there will be a rebound. Somewhat like a phoenix rising from the ashes

It'd be faster to fly cash to the exchange in person.

Alex Salmond said bitcoin could be Scotland new currency. I'm wondering if this btc hammering is meant to discourage the divorce from sterling just in case "Yes" wins. Just a random tought, but must say timing is perfect
Let's be serious for a moment. No sane Scot is giving any thought to making Bitcoin the official currency. So you're saying it could happen?
