I do not understand about reading charts , can someone please tell me , what do you guys think is more possible in short-term future, bitcoi hitting 400-500+ levels or 200- levels?

It is sad to see a trend go away , every year usually people sell their bitcoins (like stocks) right before the end of the year but this time it was too soon and I think we will not have the 'every year bitcoin is getting bigger there is no down side' trend , we might get into 2015 with bitcoin worth less back when we get into 2014 :/

Here is the problem with those that think this will rise after the wall is gone, all the shorts have bought from him, everyone that wanted to buy bought as well, where will the buyers or even a short squeeze come from?

extrapolating that bitcoin will rise after this wall is probably the wrong mindset to me. the only thing it proves is that we have massive resistance at $300. this would indicate that there'd be a more likely chance that it goes upwards of $300 compared to downwards. but i don't think it will be that much.

Honestly an SR person going to jail and therefore not able to sell their coins during the massive peak, who was then recently released and decided to sell them to become a millionaire is just as good as a hypothesis as any other. It would also account for a potentially non-economically minded person to create one huge sell wall and not bump the price up as the market ate into it so quickly.

Btw, the one big wall tactic isn't necessarily inefficient, when you're in a hurry and unable to break a good enough OTC deal.

internet slang for ego, pride, or attitude in the virtual world. long standing net definition for the age old "bigger penis" arguement.

But why are people buying instead of dumping?

We went all the way down from $1,200 to $300. We are in a bear market.

Just because a 30,000BTC sell wall appears out of nowhere, everyone needs to buy into that wall?

Makes no sense to me!

Only since 1995 but I use it mainly for serious stuff; so slang for penis measuring is indeed a new one for me, thanks for revealing something new (as it were Wink ).

In order to dump coins one must have coins

Few options as i see them:
1-He's an idiot/doesn't like money
2-He's a robin hood trying to spread wealth
3-It's manipulation in which case he has to have many more coins to drive the price even lower for rebuy (very risky and highly unlikely at these levels).

Market wants to go up. For 1 & 2 it'll shoot up once the wall is gone. Oddly enough leaning towards #2

hundreds sold @ 299.99(bid wall)  in the early hours of the Spartan Wall.

Looks like we are about at the 1/2 way point to wearing it down now (IIRC the final placement was for about 27k)
