If one were to go long 20x here, you wouldn't get margin called until about $350 and it might not go down........
Sounds well thought out.

At 20x leverage, a 5% drop in BTC price means a 100% drop in your account. At this level, Bitcoin's long-term value means nothing. You are trading on noise alone.

And you'd never be tempted to buy addition bitcoins on 20x leverage on the way up with all that instant wealth? That's what would kill you even if you did call this bottom.

I'd probably sell a small percentage and go 10x leverage on decent-sized dips, sure.

A majority of the buying volume on Houbi is to the bid side. Still they have managed to raise the price

@podyx - Why don't you try trading with a really small amount first (deposit 1/100 of what you plan to risk and play with that "safely" until you get to know the system)?
Though I agree that these Bitcoin trading platforms could use some real documentation instead of a "friendly" oversimplified "How it Works" page (literally).

Hurry everybody panic buy!
That's what big buy walls are for right? To make people panic buy? Because if they wanted to buy there is plenty of asks and there would be no slippage.

For god's sake no don't go long 20X now. I see you are eager to trade on big leverage.
Trust me, unless you REALLY know what you are doing I suggest you don't go big or you'll find yourself totally REKT with less than half of all your funds before you know it. You don't want that.
And even it tomorrow it shoots up (you don't know that now) don't go all "maaaan I could have made a killing if I would have put all 20X leverage yesterday!" ^^^This is the thought process of a gambler not a trader. A trader needs a strategy, not big wins on luck, or he will lose eventually.
How much experience do you have in trading and on trading on margin?
Not alot, swingtrade a bit with btc/doge/ltc . But unless it would go sub $350 I wouldn't lose any money
And I don't think it will go much lower then $355 I don't know how it works on your exchange, but in my experience, every day you spend in the red you are bleeding out interest. Also, because of the spread, your position is in the red the second you make your bet. Definitely a good idea to start with some small bets to get used to the system before swinging for the fences.

Well, how big are the interests? They aren't that big right BTW, I know I look like a fool and I normally wouldn't do this but my gut, heart and brain is telling me to do this, like what am I supposed to do

Maybe this just is a little bull-trap...
Cup and handle pattern on 6h but I'm afraid that the handle is too small and we will go down to $355 and I get margin called..
