http://www.ripplecharts.com/

XRP recovers much faster than BTC. Interesting.

XRP has 45% pre-mine. Interesting.

Except there is no mining. Ripple Labs recognized that cryptos behave like stocks and built a protocol that embraces this. Interesting.

...and kept 45% for themselves.

Which would be scammy if there were a mining mechanism. However, it is not unusual for a company to hold a large share of its own stock.

One thing is for certain though, the bids are deeper than when we were here a couple of months ago which suggests a more positive perception from most people in regards to the market. Now, we clearly saw it was OKcoin and China that led the price spike last week and now it has fizzled to where we might have expected to be if we had had steady growth from the "bottom". China is now being bearish with this Huobi news and it wouldn't surprise me to see the western exchanges take the lead which theoretically could lead to a much more sustainable rise. OKcoin trading is a joke with no fees and 20X leverage its just a bunch of gamblers trying to out luck each other and should not be somewhere the market looks towards to dictate a market price.

If alts need to resort to polluting threads like this with shameless 'plugs', you should know better than to invest in them.

The manipulation is comical -- they are toying with us. We had a head and shoulders pattern and we spiked up slightly. Then we had a bull flag and dropped down 20. Hahaha.

However, even though I'm a bear -- this is a great buy in point. I bought in at $370 and again at $353. I'm just being patient and not buying all in at once but rather in 25% intervals so that if prices hit even deeper bargain levels I'll still have bullets. This is what I was going to do on the last dip and I'm kicking myself for having not. But yea, this is a good opportunity, I think -- and I don't even have the major expectations some have (of $10,000 or $100,000... those are possible, but there are a lot of intervening assumptions... we'll cross those bridges as we go).

See previous posts. XRP is like a stock that Ripple issues as the market develops. More issued as liquidity increases. Can buyback if liquidity fades. Much better mechanism for distribution than mining.

One of them is a scammer telling lies and the other just annoying. I now have them both ignored. In fact, today was in my top ten for adding trolls to my ignore list.

Nothing comfirmed but Jorge posted this earlier.

Scandal about Huobi's BitVC... or FUD planted by OKCoin?

Chinese article: http://www.btcbbs.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=25035&extra=
"火币网bitvc员工不得不说的惊人内幕"
"Huobi.com's bitvc employee reports amazing insider info"

English article based on it: http://www.bitell.com/t/2150
"We're Shocked!!! An Employee of Huobi BitVC Disclosed the Behind Story of His Working Platform, Huobi Co-founder Du Jun Claimed Huobi has Presented that to The Police"

Not sure what there is in it but would explain the small drop. More than likely some bear FUD.
