my btc orders are at $150 Cool

Well it took 10 months to drop to $275 from $1160  (76%)

and now you are waiting for $150 from $310 (51%) after it's already dropped from $470 (34%)

You are needing a 69% total drop from the $470 peak to $150.  So my question is how long are you prepared to wait?

I'm a little more conservative (and I think realistic).

I'll be happy with anything under $300 (350CAD).

If the fiat deposit I'm waiting for had gone through yesterday I'd have them already.

Sometimes it's easy to get caught up in the daytrader mentality around here and lose grasp of the reality of venture capitalization, infrastructure development and the slow grind of worldwide adoption.

We're still all early adopters.

https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/bitcoin-not-currency-says-australian-tax-office/

Quote
The role of the GST or the Goods and Services Tax will now come into sharp focus. Under this law, the use of bitcoin will apply twice to some Bitcoin transactions, both to the goods and or services being supplied, and to the use of bitcoins as a method of payment. Bitcoin exchanges and markets will have to charge GST on the full value of the bitcoins they supply to residents of Australia, and not just on commissions

Ooops

That's why we send them down there ... not very smart those Ozzies. Quite good at sport tho ... I guess it's all that time spent not reading books

I assume it applies to all crypto, in which case Ripple will be illegal in Australia.

Yes, but Ripple Labs is trying to do something about this.

Please see the thread below.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=880666.0

Love the way they talk about the issue without talking about the issue.

Ripples main selling feature will be illegal, what is there to negotiate?

The fees are incompatible with ripple, meaning "World wide payments" apart from Australia, and any other country that follows suit.  Either that or the ripple protocol need a hard fork and will lose the ability to send free payment.

Not only that, but ripple will be taxed twice on most transactions.

Chartbuddy looks like a very good trader. Anyway, price at the end of year will be around 250$ and 400$. Next year we will see (I'm sure about this) another price raise of bitcoin Smiley

Aha, here is the pump. Take a guess what comes after that.

Such a beautiful invention completely being destroyed and abused by fucking traders. It really is a shame.

I hope y'all understand how many coins we gave the jackals in this last four-punch raid. They've made the order book their bitch and so a low volume melt up and mild pump make me more concerned and not less that $270 will be retested. My short is staying put until we get a high volume test of support and no, that little slam into $302 wasn't it.

These assholes have taken our money by being patient and if we want to take Bitcoin back, we have to be even more patient than them.

If you are buying for the long term, then by all means buy now, this is a fantastic price. I'm talking to the decentral bankers, the liquidity suppliers. We are not even close to being out of danger. There will be no sustainable rise until stability is achieved first. This took half a year in 2009-10 and so I believe there will be plenty of time before the next bubble.
