Bitcoin would stop if it is banned, or if there is not more internet. and better still if rapture happens.Lol
but i do not think that bitcoin is going to be banned, as bitcoin is now becoming more stable and popular therefore i think it is not becoming more difficult for the governments to bane bitcoin, but they are gong to legalize bitcoin in their countries. Lol although bitcoin popular though. prohibited or legal it's up to the decision of the government. if bitcoin hurt that country the government would banned bitcoin despite bitcoin popular Same thing happened in Russia. It didn't make any collapse in the country's economy, but the government feared on its potential and issued a ban on bitcoin usage. Soon after this they made a committee to know better about it and understood it's potential and the ban have been taken off and has planned to implement the technology into their financial system. So it is a proof, no more countries want to ban the bitcoin again. Because bitcoin is the latest technology, people use it to support their financial crises, and it is also useful for the government, If their countries' s people happy when why need government ban the bitcoin? |

The biggest threat to Bitcoin, is another Altcoin with Bitcoin's problems solved. When people get used to use cryptocurrency, it will use the best. So DASH can be used over the counter today. If a similar technology is not added to bitcoin, there is one reason to use something else.

Your main problem is that you hadn't been there and thus don't know a thing about the matter in question. While in real life Bitcoin has never been banned in Russia in the first place. If you come to disagree you may want to post a link to the law prohibiting the use of Bitcoin in Russia, as simple as it gets. It is obvious as day that you are confusing commentaries of some officials about possible ban of Bitcoin use and mining with actual adoption and implementation of such a law (which has never been the case) |

Yup, that is one of the things that I fear about. Look what happened to all medicinal plants that can kill cancer cells and cure diseases, to the inventions that just vanish that can help sustain better economy and reduce global warming, to the intelligent people who have better ideas that can help the world. What herbs are you talking about specifically?Specifically speaking cannabis and kratom are herbal plants that has been banned by the DEA and the government.( Cannabis is already legalize to some country ). Scientifically speaking these herbal plants are proven to cure such diseases ( diarrhea, treatment for opiate addiction, cancer cells ). Tho' there are some groups and individuals that is fighting to legalize such plants, the government is still denying the fact that these plants means no harm to both human and environment. |

I think as long bitcoin users still have at least 3 people will continue to exist bitcoin turnaround in the market or there marketcap. so it will be very difficult to happen viewed bitcoin has millions of users |

Not even a single price drop may kill and end bitcoins and other big altcoins out on trading markets.I think the most common thing that will kill bitcoins is us and the network.If we stop using bitcoins and if the network have really big issues on bitcoins and on blockchain

It can be anything. The point is that we have to be very careful and smart. I bet that nobody want to lose his money, that why we have to keep any problem out and focused what's the best for BTC and us. But even that will not all the people happy. Still I believe there are many out there that we want to be the richest people in the world and they will do anything for that. So we have to be very careful!

:)If people lose faith in the security of the network for one reason or another then bitcoin could die. no matter how many times i look at the numbers i always have this idea in my head that an address could finally be cracked with a super computer ie one of satoshis old addresses, this would obviously be catastrophic . Maybe after years of not achieving mass adoption price will slowly taper off and die, to me this is the most likely case.

For your info, super computer is not available in the market only few organization have this AFAIK, NASA have one of it and it is impossible for to use it just to crack satoshi wallet address. Bitcoin will dead once the government of all over the globe was completely control it. |
