It looks like since The Bitcoin Co-op left, we lost the only working communication channel with the team... So only tiny bits of info reach the community, leaving a space for any kind of assumptions done mostly in negative direction (which are also ignored and left unanswered now...). This one-way pseudo-communication is damaging to the project.

Would be great to get the guy back... Snailbrain may be a great coder and/or a man of integrity and honor, but without good communication this is doomed. See how the community reacted, and... nobody cares.

Hi. so like i read people are disappointed with something. They are saying 'Huntercoin people should get what they deserve'
i would say the devs are working to create something and this something, even if the devs are same as huntercoin, is a whole another project. what if the devs were differnt but the same project, would the "deserve" be still there?
Can you not be glad you dont even have to burn but get free CHI for what HUC your holding.

Don't like the direction this is going to

Miserable portion to HUC holders == devs want as much money from ICO as possible == project started with greediness in mind (still this is dependant of how many coins will be in ICO, and how many in PoW, so this might be not as bad as it seems, but why we have left here with no information?  ).

Old "Chimera" name looks more simple and so better branding; "Chimaera" is more correct Latin spelling, but its too old latin for the general public == less popularity among players. Regular people like shorter names without extra unneded letters (developers -> devs, applications -> apps, etc). Not sure why this name change. The old logo was better too, though I agree that is subjective.

And last, but not the least - why The Bitcoin Co-op has left the project? He seemed to be the one who had community communication skills, and cared about the community. As experience shows, without him we get little to zero info, and the opinion of community is completely ignored too. S are just presented with "godsent" decisions.
Can we get any info on the reasons he left? I suppose he had disagreed with those changes (changing burn/swap to snapshot and ICO breakdown maybe). Is it the reason of him leaving, or is there anything else?

The new name is better, actually. Latin is fine for fantasy nerds, and the social media/domain names are easy to get. I did disagree with the logo change, but I was far more frustrated with disagreements about community management and the ICO plan, which were costing me time and money. I'm still very interested in blockchain gaming (still got the website), but am currently focused on an ICO for a different and unrelated project which I'll probably announce after CoinFest. I basically have bills to pay

For example, the last info about NXT to IGNIS snapshot is 50%.
The NXT to Ardor snapshot was 100%.

NXT is a different beast, since it was 100% premined and distributed only to a small number of people - so, when they do a snapshot of 50-100%, they founders are probably/potentially collecting many/most of those tokes - and then those tokens they collect are also 100% premined. HUC has 3+ years of PoW (and game) distribution with only a negligible premine, and from what I understand Chimaera will be PoW too, so you have to imagine the vast majority of coins will be reserved as rewards for PoW.

There was no "pomp" authorised/planted by our team in a way that should have made you buy any coins.. If it came across that way it was not on purpose.

5% is a free courtesy. It could quite easily have been 0%... or 3% as it was already planned for with burning.

Btw as a HUC owner myself I'd have loved to have been made rich from them and I hope I still will.
But we will not be doing so on the back of a completely separate projects ICO which could harm it's potential.

Also.. 5% is better than you think. It's not 5% extra huc.
It's 5% of total CHI and you will have it at block 1.

how much total supply Chimaera? why just 5%? i have 15k Huntercoin. but its make feel bad for huntercoin holder. and i think to much huntercoin holder disagree about this.
then, afther chimeara launched, what happen with huntercoin?
