Can I not simply use exodus to partake in the ICO?

I do not think so. You'd better choose one of below steps whichever is convenient to you.

Why is it going to a different address than the crowdsale address?  Huh the crowdsale address still shows no transactions. 0xBbc79794599b19274850492394004087cBf89710

Why is it going to a different address than the crowdsale address?  Huh

internal transactions move it to the address that escrows/dev have access to. contract address is just a gateway.

in slack, they said 20k presale was bitcoin suisse presale contribution..

"20k ETH in the contract are the bitcoin suisse presale"

I got screwed by the Bitcoin Swiss issue. Waiting to invest Fiat though them and never hearing from them after my application was sent 1 week ago, not even to tell me they would not accept me, I didn't buy cheap ETH in time. Bad bad managment. One hour to go now, right?

The count down clock has 1 hour 20 mins but states 14:00 GMT which is in 20 minutes?

https://bancor.network/fundraiser
Are you in the Uk ? we are GMT +1

Ah right - thanks.

How many ETH is everyone investing Wink
Only what i can afford to lose ;-)

Financially I can afford to lose quite a lot. Emotionally I can't afford to lose any. Which should I let rule my decision that is the question.
The answer lies somewhere in the middle

For not following clear instructions all these funds being sent to ico wallet should be taken as donations for the reserve pool.

https://etherscan.io/address/0xBbc79794599b19274850492394004087cBf89710

But when you check below transaction, someone made it to get the BNT. How could it happen before the timer hits zero?

I don't see the big deal. Those who paid at the $250 rate missed the rally to $400. I guess missing this hurt those who are buying eth at the last minute, but that's a pretty stupid way to buy an ico.

Exactly. Big economical damage for everyone who believed in those morons. Now with the same money we can get only a fraction of Bancors.

So people investing on this are going to make a lot of money or are they going to lose a lot of money? Everybody keeps saying completely different things.  Huh

I guess that if this was a bad investment, nobody would invest on it and then the Bancor guys would never reach the cap? I don't understand how many of you keep saying that the Bancor guys are going to get tons of money and at the same time this is a bad investment, who would invest millions of dollars in something that will not deliver any benefits?

If you were smart and bought your eth under $250 for this ico then they have no advantage.

When there is possibility of high returns people are willing to be risky.

The funny part about cryptos and most people on these boards is I don't think they have ever been educated on simple economics or finance. Whether in the legitimate stock market or in global markets. Most people just don't understand how this works lol.

You totally miss my point. I wanted to invest Fiat and for this reason only I wanted to use Bitcoin Suisse as it was the most practical way. And since they have been introduced as a reliable party I had no reason su suspect they would not reply to my application AT ALL. And day after day ETH's price has risen while I was waiting for their answer any moment. Luckily I have a few ETHs which I bought cheaper, so I won't totally miss the ICO, but if I still want to invest the fiat I wanted to invest now I'd be totally screwed.
