Why Bancor is special among so many project because they have dedicated people who are working around the clock. I can't see anywhere this kind of work being done in any project and being shared with public at the same time. Last obstacle for Bancor to obtaining the status of one of the best and high ranking exchange is fiat integration of two way. They have introduced buying with card for Ethereum. Bancor had a successful Token Sale. Besides, as the Team builds the Bancor protocol, they'll be the first early adopters to profitable Bancor tech (like token baskets, token sales on the Bancor network, token changers with fees, etc.). So they'll generate revenue by being most informed. As for the Wallet, everyone is free to use it!

if there is huge demand the reserve of the ERC20 token could be depleted and no more purchases are possible until someone sells or someone replenishes the balance?

This is highly unlikely to happen - if there was such a heavy demand, the pricing would adjust accordingly via the algorithm, and arbitrage opportunities would arise, thus equilibrating the reserves.

I can't find option to generate a new address. Is wallet address assigned to users only one forever?
