Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

Is there a chance for Saifu token to get listed on your internal exchange? Would be really cool if you could list it in the next time. The team is doing really good work and the project has great potential to be alive in the future!

Any news regarding the ico details?

Bancor's ICO ended quite a while ago. June 2017 in fact. However, you can head to Bancor.network to convert tokens!

I guess that also the team has the possibility to make this happening, if they decide to, and if it is true that the team is doing really good work then they would most likely take care of that. If they don't, then perhaps they are not really doing a good work Wink

How does the Bancor exchange actually work? And does Bancor require a fee for any token to get listed?

Bancor is a decentralized liquidity network that converts tokens directly through their smart contracts without an exchange. There are no fees on Bancor. The protocol is open source and anyone can integrate with the Network. Anyone listing a token simply needs to fund both sides of a token relay to create a liquid token.

What are the advances in developing this project?

Some of the latest updates are as follows:

Bancor Is An EOS Block Producer Candidate!

We are excited to announce LiquidEOS as an EOS Block Producer Candidate based in Israel and led by Bancor. As the largest decentralized solution for token conversions on the Ethereum blockchain, Bancor has gained invaluable experience scaling a high-volume decentralized network, and we are eager to contribute our expertise and resources as an EOS Block Producer to promote the increasing adoption of blockchain technologies.

80 Tokens Live!

Some incredible partners have activated tokens on the Bancor Network in the past few weeks, bringing the total number of live tokens to 80. That's more than 3,000 token pairs - for instance, EOS to ETH or BNB to BAT - with many more coming soon! Here are the latest live tokens:

PundiX (NPXS)
Measurable Data Token (MDT)
SyncFab (MFG)
Auctus (AUC)
BlitzPredict (XBP)
Fintrux (FTX)
Chainium (CHX)
Datarius (DTRC)
Ripio (RCN)
Zippie (ZIPT)
Transcodium (TNS)
Amon (AMN)
FundFantasy (FUNDZ)
FortKnoxster (FKX)
Sociall (SCL)

Product Updates

In recent weeks, we shipped a number of updates to the new Bancor Wallet, as well as several features that improve the conversion flow on Bancor.

Display currency: You can now choose the currency displayed (USD, ETH, or Euro) when making conversions.

Price slippage warning: While price slippage is always viewable in Bancor prior to completing a conversion, Bancor now highlights when the slippage on a conversion is over 7%.

Add fiat to conversion widget: Bancor now triggers the "Buy ETH" button when you need to top up ETH in order to complete a conversion. You can buy ETH on Bancor with a credit or debit card.

Wallet updates: We've released a number of updates to the new Bancor Wallet, including the ability to easily download your encrypted wallet file, so you can access your wallet anywhere. Learn more about the new wallet features here.

SMS login (coming soon): You will soon be able to log into Bancor using SMS. This will be in addition to the social login options that are currently available. This is a feature many of our users have requested, and we're excited to release it. We will notify the community when SMS login goes live.

Trezor support (coming soon)

Bancor has applied to become an EOS Block Producer. https://ban.cr/LiquidEOS

This is HUGE! This means dozens of ERC20 tokens will be coming to EOS via Bancor!
How would an ERC20 token on EOS? EOS is a different blockchain, and as such, a token on Ethereum cannot really 'come' to another blockchain. What specifically are you referring to here?

Crosschain functionality is in the works.

Very pleased that the platform is so actively developing. I'm already used to recommending Bancor to all my friends. However, I would like to ask: will the project developers be on a consensus? I think that this is quite an important event and such a big project as a bankor is obliged to visit it.

the longer Bancor platform has shown really good progress so I can say the performance of the team does not need to be in doubt anyone who will know this platform in the future will advance more rapidly, and it is likely according to my perception a platform of this size will surely reach consensus because it is good for interests of the project.
