EOS blockchain is officially live and we are honored that Bancor's LiquidEOS was elected as one of the first 21 block producers! Now the real work begins.
https://ban.cr/LiquidEOSlive

What this means? Bancor exchange will supporting EOS tokens? Im very skeptical about EOS. This is new blockchain with unproffesional team. Bancor must work at Ethereum standars tokens (ERC 227 etc which they dont supporting).

It means that Bancor is now one of the main block producers for a new blockchain right at its inception. An EOS block producer is akin to a Bitcoin miner.

What about the relay token though? Should be able to trade that without pundi being online right?

How does this relay token thing work? I saw the option there but didn't really know what it is meant to do.

I must say that told in this way it is a very very impressive achievement. I sense we will see great benefits for BNT from this move.

BancorAmbassador, thanks for the answer to the question! I did not have time to answer ))

And one more important news: this Thursday, June 21st, TRON (TRX) will be removed from the Bancor Web App ahead of the upcoming TRON mainnet launch. Bancor will not be facilitating the token transfer for users. Please see this blog post on how to transfer your TRX: https://ban.cr/TRONmainnet

Thanks, good explanation. In fact, to get wider and wider adoption more and more literature has to be written about the functioning of the Bancor protocol.

It is recommended to stake 2%-5% of token total market value if a token wants to be listed on Bancor: https://support.bancor.network/hc/en-us/articles/360001240672-How-many-tokens-should-I-stake-in-my-Relay-

But please clarify how many BNT must be purchased?

But please clarify how many BNT must be purchased?

From the opening paragraph of the knowledge base article that you linked:

Your Relay Token is a new Smart Token with two connectors, each with 50% weight, one holds a balance in your token, the other holds a balance in BNT. You deposit both your token and BNT into your Relay Token.

And from the paragraph you included: It is recommended to stake 2-5% of token total market value...

So it's dependent on total market value of the token being listed.

So for example, out token total issue = 100 000 000 tokens. The price, e.g. 0.01 USD. So total market value = 1 000 000 USD.

Then we, e.g. buy BNT on 10 000 USD ( 1% from 1M market value)  stake it on Bancor + we stake 100 000 tokens (1% of 100M tokens).

Am I right?

We have no details on this, one would have decide on this by consulting with the Team during token listing process.
