We are heading to third quarter where self token activation will be implemented on web wallet and probably fiat gateway is planned for this quarter as well. I didn't see anything new about this but I am sure as development in keep going things are on track. All this I recalled after seeing someone shared roadmap which was published about 4 months ago. Since then lot of achievements have been accomplished.

It is important to note that Bancor is not an exchange. It is a liquidity network. When you are buying or selling, it's not a trade. It's a computationally intense conversion of one token into another. Also Bancor does not take any fees.
But still it looks like more as centralized exchange than p2p network as conversion rates are defined by proprietary algorithm a of Bancor and users are not able to do it by themselves, isn't it? yes it is a centralize exchange even if you call it a liquidation network, and yes the conversion of each token are taken from the market value and your reference would be coinmarketcap.

Hello, Chichidori. Bancor is not an exchange in any way simply because there are no parties exchanging. There are no buyers/sellers and no order book, which is essential for an exchange. The Bancor Protocol effectively disconnects liquidity from trade volume.

Over a dozen new projects, including CLN, MAD, CMCT, BOXX and XNK, activated on Bancor this month, bringing the total number of live tokens to 109, with nearly 6000 possible pairs.
Indeed, new tokens are often added, keep an eye on those who are at https://t.me/BancorNews

The Bancor team recently took a moment to recognize a series of milestones all landing seemingly at once — Bancor’s 1-year anniversary, the network’s 100th live token, the election of our LiquidEOS block producer upon activation of EOS Mainnet, and the launch of the world’s first natively liquid community currencies in Kenya. All this amid more than a dozen new tokens going live on the network and the release of several significant product updates. Here’s the latest: https://ban.cr/JuneProgressUpdate

If a 3rd party application would like to integrate exchange functionality via Bancor, how would they do it? For example, lets say there is a community currency with its own wallet app because of some special features. How would they allow their users to exchange their community currency for other currencies? What is the best flow? In my mind an API for mobile apps would be really cool.

Well in practice the API allows you to interact with Bancor and make transactions. In theory, one would be able to integrate this API with a GUI "anywhere". This could be an eventual use case for the API. Feel free to join the Telegram Group if you have any further questions!

To minimize the impact on NPXS holders from the Coinrail Korea hack, the Pundi X team requests to de-activate the NPXS relay on Bancor until further notice. Balances in NPXS and withdrawals are not affected.

Hi, I didn't see Ethereum as one of the listed token on bancor, how does the transaction work. I am newly registered. Thanks
