Can Bitcoin be used by ordinary citizens?

I was an ordinary citizen before I engage my self if the world of cryptocurrency. At first there are difficulties dealing with bitcoins but later on I learned how does this thing works. Bitcoin usage can be learned by ordinary citizens so in my opinion, bitcoin can be used by ordinary citizens.

Indeed bitcoin can really be used by ordinary citizens. Anyone can use bitcoin as long she/he will have the internet access it can be. As long one person has the proper knowledge to use bitcoin thus, ordinary citizens can used it.

People who has are interested with this can use this....  Bitcoin is for people who have knowledge  with this because if you dont have,  it will be difficult...

This could be use by the ordinary people---all the people living here in the society. If this bitcoin would be use by all the people around the world, I mean if bitcoin would finally be the world currency, then using it even though by the ordinary people would be easy, because bitcoin would be the salary also in all of the jobs in the real world and not just on this cryptocurrency world.

Well, to a certain degree yes, I mean there are already shopping retailers that allow the use of bitcoin as a transaction method. It also depends on which country you are talking about. Some like the idea of Bitcoins, while others heavily oppose it. It all comes down to the governments of the particular country and how much they would like to embrace this new change. Bitcoin is banned in some countries as a result of its decentralised state - corrupt officials do not like this as it becomes much harder to manipulate the market to their advantage.

However, I think that in the next 5 years or so, most retailers will allow bitcoin to be used as a transaction method. On the consumer side of bitcoin (not dev or miner), it doesn't take that much technical knowledge to know how to use it. There are plenty of people using it with a very small amount of knowledge about Information Technology as well as cryptocurrencies.

i agree with that,and its happen in my life,only people who interested in technology want to know more about bitcoin,and i think its hard for ordinary citizen to start using bitcoin as investement or currency,so far people need to know and use bitcoin because they need money,they have no interest using bitcoin as payment,its too complicated,and this become our duty to make bitcoin can used for payment,investement and can used by ordinary citizen.

i agree with that,and its happen in my life,only people who interested in technology want to know more about bitcoin,and i think its hard for ordinary citizen to start using bitcoin as investement or currency,so far people need to know and use bitcoin because they need money,they have no interest using bitcoin as payment,its too complicated,and this become our duty to make bitcoin can used for payment,investement and can used by ordinary citizen.

I agree with that, people who are into technology are the ones who knows about bitcoin. I know that it is also possible for those people mentioned by chmod777 to use bitcoin too. For me, it is not that they don't think that bitcoin is important but because they don't know how important bitcoin is. There might be negligence and disregard from them because they are not into technology and also because they are not trying.

The fact that it is also hard to believe that there is such "crypto currency" adds to the reasons why they chose to ignore bitcoin.

There is a difference between the statistical average joe and an ordinary citizen. Statistical Joe is robbed off on investing options into anything ,because they are a subject of being in debt.

Ordinary citizen can be an average joe or not. To invest into something you must have a manageable debt to begin with. You can have the thought shortcut about the average joe being an ordinary citizen, but thats not entirely true. There is no definition of average joe being ordinary citizen, other the statistics that shows that almost 80% people have no savings. Not only that, they are heavily in debt.

But even if you are in debt you can gather some bitcoins online for free. But you need to have time to first search about bitcoin, and then use your time to get those free bitcoins, usually small at first to begin with. Many people having unmanageable debt are forced to work to manage it, making the time for them a valuable commodity they can not afford.

That is the biggest mistake in their life since if they doesn't learned nor get any interest about it well surely they cannot joined the profitability of this technology and we cannot blame them also to ignored this one since this is new to their knowledge and people might gonna bored with this if there is no one gonna teach them on how to upgrade their knowledge.

Yes, bitcoin is for everyone, now we are here because we are doing work with laptop and also have knowledge about online working. It is a reason we know about bitcoin.
And if mostly people are not working on bitcoin, the reason they have no belong to online world. However they don't know about bitcoin.
In fact bitcoin is more useful and suitable for ordinary people.

Except ordinary citizens like yourself are obviously more adept at using things like bitcoin than most people. There have been loads of improvements but right now bitcoin is still too difficult for the majority of the population to effectively use.

The problem is that even if they want to use it, they don't have something like ( internet and smart phones or computer ). There are some people who still dont have that kind of things nowadays. For example they heard about BTC but they don't have internet connection in their area and they don't have the right devices to acquire and earn BTC. Some are interested but that interest is limited because of their life status.

Sure. When it becomes easy to buy like anything else. At the moment it is quite complicated for the average new user, but with time people will learn to download a wallet client like any other program and send Bitcoins to it. It is really simple, just takes time. All good things come in due time.

Yeah. Im hoping as that when bitcoin world is well developed enough people will use it as good or way better than fiat. Were already waiting and taking some time so I hope that this is good for future generations. We wont know if the 22th century generation will be able to witness btc as a world reserve or a world currency. Were the one who is pushing this industry and I hope that this wont be a big club like the old payment system.

Yes, there is no discrimination that this has to be used by certain group of people and certain ranged people should not use it. This is purely a open source, everyone can be a part of the growing community. All that we need is the patience to learn, and the interest to make the learning into experimental analysis and feel the goodness.

Of course, for as long as they have what it takes to own and spend BTC, i.e. a smart phone at least or computer and an internet connection. Without that, ordinary citizens cannot make use of bitcoin.

If we talk of people in the hinterlands who do not even have electricity, then bitcoin is impossible to be used.
