Wish I had USD on Bitstamp... it is so far behind BTCChina that arbitrage will happen at any moment. The price could spike to $190 in a second.
How does one easily move money back from China to EUR/US? Not. It is easy, all you have to do is stretch the definition of "easy" to include buying a bunch of stuff that can be exported and sold in US/EU.

Looks like the BitStamp market is maturing now. Even when stamp has been beating gox on volume on a slow market gox was taking the lead for big actions. Now we just saw even for the dip caused by the china 80k dump more volume was traded in the 10mins follow-on on stamp (3.5k) than gox (3k). Looking good :)
[snip]
The biggest improvement, IMO, is that finally some market depth is developing on stamp. I know, it's far from perfect, but anyone who has been trading on stamp with any meaningful volume 2 months ago will remember that slippage was really, really bad. Now, it's possible to move moderate amounts and not be killed by slippage. That, and the consistently good volume on bitstamp makes me think that, finally, mtgox and bitstamp are "equally important" as of now. Next step: bitstamp taking the pole position :D

Couldnt find it before on the iphone. grr No problem, I had to google it the first time when I used the exchange (they should have an more obvious way to cancel. Btw, if u check the orderbook at your sum you can click it to cancel it there also (u'll see a small green triangle in the bottom left corner of the orderbook entry)

Hey guys,
I know this question probably belongs elsewhere, but does the Internet Credit Union accept wire transfers from Bitstamp? I want to sell on Bitstamp but I don't actually know where the USD can be sent to after that (in the US).

I have no idea. I know that wiring *to* exchanges can be a problem, but getting money *from* an exchange? Why would a bank refuse an incoming wire? The worst I would expect is some tax audit/other questioning if you don't declare it properly....

oda.krell, keep a close eye on the market indicators. While a small bump up is still possible IMO, if we are to enter capitulation (I mean start it, not end) things can get ugly quickly. To me the Chinese market looks like a re-enactment of the April 10th peak and crash.

Give up, you've been crying for 3 weeks now. Either take your losses or shut up. You won't be right much like proudhon after 1000 wrong predictions and then finally a drop.

Correction will come, I have no doubt about it. But not yet. We still have quite a bit of air, I'd say.

On Gox yes, but IMO China got so high too fast and with high volume. The higher the volume, the shorter time the EW sub-sub-waves take. I don't know what happens if one exchange is ready to start capitulation and others not (they have more time left). On Gox there should be time for another bump up, but to me it looks like China has run out of steam. It may go up again for one more time, and if resistance will be low it can reach a bit higher price, but that's all IMO. We'll see tomorrow.

will be interesting to see what happens when china wakes up tomorrow. china is clearly leading this bull run. Good call. Very much yes, I suspect that the contagion will also spread there. China is just getting started and they don't have the same investment options as many other regions so this will be especially attractive to them. Consider their over-invested housing market in a demographic bubble that looks poised to lose population of 2-300M over the next generation and this bitcoin stuff is a dream come true for them. Probably also fashionable. Add in that the US feds can't crack open DPR's private stash and we will have the renminbi tide coming in.

Both Bitstamp bids and asks are falling again, there's falling volume, and also a wedge. Looks like there's going to be a big price movement coming in the very near future.

Bids volume is at 2k right now vs ask volume still at 6k. Does this mean the price 'should' go down?
Thoughts?
