I have noticed a very interesting phenomenon: most of the people at bitcointalk.org constantly repeat that bitcoin will pass 1500,2000$ and after that, the price will go straight to the skies.

Im afraid I have to end that dream because without any unexpected events we won't see BTC reaching 1500$ price level so fast, that is not possible.
As I am a price action trader, I would rather say that slow build-up will get us there but within 3-4 months.

However, it might happen faster: for example there might be altcoin dump in the favour of bitcoin, which will cause btc price to jump a little, just before printing another high.

The biggest problem I can see, is that cryptocurrency world is incredibly unpredictable, 1 month is a really long time for any crypto price chart

Yes, nothing uncommon here, price is changing all the time, 40$ up, 40$ down, maybe a bit more or less and that is what makes bitcoin worthful for many investors like the traders who are making profit from it. It's a hard technique and sometimes unpredictable, there is always a loss chance, but without flutuation I think we would have less persons dealing with bitcoins at this moment.
I'm very confident bitcoin will reach 1500$ very soon, if bu threat stops, it will be faster.

Yes I really think that one day bitcoin price will reach at 1500usd because there were signs of progress from sudden drop and it goes along the way to success. Well most of us here will be more happier specially those who has bigger amount of btc holdings, which waited patiently for the price to rise higher so that they can sell and earn their profit.

There are big chances that the price of bitcoin will reach to more than 1500$ but when it will happen, nobody, don't know because when the price is increasing some speculation is arising around the bitcoin, so it's very hard to guess when the price will increase.

This is only possible if the price will rapidly increase just like what happened before the year end of 2016. And this is a very short period for that price.

Right now we are near on $1,200 and I'm thinking that each month the price is increasing $100 so I guess for the of August this is possible.

But we know that the price is very unstable it can still go down anytime now, to assure this price maybe it can happen just like most of the people saying here, before this year end.

bitcoin prices can go up and down at any time. but, looking at the current price, I think the price of bitcoin could not reach a price of $ 1500, even the price of bitcoin unstable when it reached a price of $ 1200. perhaps we can see the potential that bitcoin could reach $ 1,500 in August to come.

That's indeed a major problem. It's actually such a problem, that it is heavily contributing to the volatility that we're experiencing from time to time. People here are spoiled when it comes to pumps and dumps, and are basically expecting all kinds of things to happen within such a short period of time, and that time on time again. If nothing is happening, you'll see threads pop up asking what the reason is for the price to not move up further, and all other bla bla that comes with it. If you look at stocks or other non Bitcoin related investment options, then people are happy to make gains like 5-10% per year! Here if you say that you make like 10% per month, then people are just okay with it since it's nothing special... 1 month is peanuts, it's dust, nothing, nada - It's a mentality thing that needs to change.

there's no specific time when it will occur we can make a speculation whether it will reach $1500 in a few months or so but bitcoin seems always making a surprise sometimes the price will be either increased or decreased this instances is happening in a time that we do not expect very often . I have no thoughts about it yet so i just have to wait for it .

we can see bitcoin price is reach $1500 even more but we don't know when, we only have to waiting that time is come. i hope when that time is come, i will have more bitcoin so i can sell it for buying something although if i sell right now, i still can make profit but i want more bigger profit than now   i think in that time, many people will use bitcoin in many place and bitcoin price will more volatile than now.
