Vertcoin [VTC][ANN] Segwit Activated | ASIC Resistant Decentralized GPU Mining

I want to switch a few rigs on VTC but I cant find anything "reliable" infos about the pools and the miners. So many dead links and the lack of information is baffling.

Everyone use their own version of ccminer and many pools are using an ip address , no frontpage. The P2pool list (.pl) is dead and no one seems to care about that.

So any suggestions ?

so no one is mining VTC apparently... That would explain a lot of things about this coin ...

dear temporel, most of the peeps are on slack. the hashingpower on vtc prooves that your assumption seems to be wrong

finally found an explanation about the pools:
Why is P2Pool Recommended Over Traditional Pools? Decentralisation

P2Pool is peer to peer allowing a decentralized pool mining system. There are many nodes setup around the world that connect to each other too mine together. Many other coins have 1 very large pool that many miners connect to and sometimes the largest pool can have 51% or more of the network hash rate which makes the network vulnerable to a 51% attack. If P2Pool is the largest network then that prevents the Vertcoin network to be susceptible to a 51% attack as P2Pool is decentralized.

Actually I didn't "leave". I still have my bag and its bigger then ever. I've tried to keep up to date as much as I could. Being unable to access my main account was making me very angry, and apparently bitcointalk.org doesnt offer many tools to recover my account. I keep logging with the same email, tho.

Anyway, I guess 2017/18 its gonna be huge for VTC and other special cryptos. Fiat is not my goal, but I may antecipate a "Get Back to 5$" in a near future, maybe?
I feel tempted to buy some more ^^

Does anyone have a an example batch file for ccminer and hooking up to a vert coin p2p pool. Everytime I hook up I get hashing rates and sometimes error rates but no difficulty, or projected payouts and nothing else. Does ccminer 2.1 or 2.2 work with p2p pools or is it operator error. I've been mining with a lot of other miners but don't have much experience with vert coin mining. Maybe I'll stick with my equihash mining ewbf miner and nice hash. lol!
