Vertcoin is really better than btc, but why btc is 6k$ and vtc only 1$??
because there's folk like temporel on board  Vertcoin has a great future if it doesn't get manipulated by greed of those with no patience. more miners, more network effect, more mouths to spread the knowledge, great base for a bright future of a truly decentralised coin  |

FYI, I own a lot of VTC and currently have a few rigs mining it. I also run one of the top uptime p2pool on Network 1 and wrote FAQs and "How to mine/run p2pool" in 2 different languages (third on the way). This coin can only goes up. |

Bitcoin should start getting more often into competition with altcoins and Vertcoin is one of the best rivals . The high value of Bitcoin is partly the result of the lack of investor awareness about other cryptos and about the rule of diversification. Sure there is big players that manipulate the market but aside that we have many new Bitcoiners that one day should start diversifying in splitting funds among other cryptos and that's where Vert is well positioned. I believe a market cap of 1bln in the next months is realistic . HYI this is not a financial advice but a personal view . |

The vertcoin is the result for btg reson, omg vtc realy best
The Bitcoin Gold (BTG) project aims to fork the network so they can create an Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) ‘resistant’ version of bitcoin. The reason they are forking the network is because the team thinks ASIC mining is too centralized( vertcoin is decentralized). BTG developers plan to make bitcoin mineable using Graphic Processing Units (GPU), by changing the original protocol’s consensus to an algorithm called Equihash

Also does anyone have experience with the one click miner, pretty easy to get it going?

Interested by the answer to the question above. Plus, I would like to understand : for many people, the one click miner is supposed to be huge for adoption. But it doesn't change the fact that you still need a great GPU/mining rig to get a decent hashrate, right ? And mining vertcoin isn't that hard to do with, isn'it (ccminer, etc.) ? Could you let me know what I'm missing ? What is the great value in Vertcoin (except the point listed in the previous post comparing it to LTC and BTC) ? Cheers,  |
