wow. i think i waited to long. have been keeping an eye on vert. but just noticed the spike this morning. should have bought when i was considering.

The only question I have is: why now??
I was rather sure this coin would rise... but why now??
I'd say the upcoming block reward halvening could be one reason. AFAIK it will happen at block 840000, which should be around mid-December. |

Hey there. First time I post on the Vertcoin thread.
I studied Vertcoin a month ago and I decided to buy some. I took them out of bitter and into my coinomi wallet with a view of keeping them long term.
Clearly what attracted me is the Asiic resistance.
Also clearly I am very glad that this coin is now giving me something like 200% return and still I will not sell it.
The only question I have is: why now??
I was rather sure this coin would rise... but why now??
Only because of ledger support? Mind me, it's good news, still...
Your views are appreciated.
some would say its the Ledger support, the coin received a lot of free publicity since last week. Getting added to ledger wasn't free. Also, OCM is available in beta in our discord. |

some would say its the Ledger support, the coin received a lot of free publicity since last week. Getting added to ledger wasn't free. Also, OCM is available in beta in our discord. who said it was free ? |

What a pain in the ass it was to send coins. Fully synced latest wallet keeps dropping nodes and NEVER has more than 1 active node. Every time I went to send coins it would drop connections and leave the transaction unconfirmed. The only way to recover my coins was to close the wallet, delete mempool.dat and restart the wallet with the -zapwallettxes option. It took me over an hour to be able to find some node in Russia that would stay synced long enough to be able to send the transaction. Hard to believe a coin that's been around as VTC can't put out a wallet or official list of the nodes so thae dam thing stays synced!
