It is not just a switch from POW to POS, it is also a block reward halving event (Though a lot of people are not aware yet until the blockchain stabilizes).
Before the switch to POS, 2 XLR were created per block, however looking at the explorer now 0.99998956 XLR are being created.
This 0.99998956 XLR, would be shared between masternode owners, stakers and budget system beginning from block 263996 (ceteris paribus).

Can I get any help here? I have coins stuck on 0 confirmations two deposits on Kucoin and no replies from Kucoin for 3 days now.
One bigger deposit on the way to Cryptobridge 28 hours now no reply from them neither and no coins.
What is going on and why there are no deposits despite over 1000 confirnations on block explorer???

After disabled Solaris deposits, tradings, withdrawals for maintenance, for now everything come back to normal status.
You should send them support ticket and wait to see what happen.

Mac OS wallet has been updated. Web wallet and Android Wallet coming soon!

Please update to 2.8.0.0 immediately if you updated 2.7.0.0 already. Version 2.8.0.0 will fix reward distribution between Masternodes and Stakers starting from block 263996.
The Solaris blockchain has suffered a stuck block after the switch from Proof of Work to Proof of Stake.

We believe this was caused by a number of reasons, but primarily the network was not fully stable and some large wallets caused the difficulty to spike, causing network instability and anomalies with connected nodes.
In turn, this has caused a domino effect of a number of staking wallets forking away and most wallets being out of sync, leaving little to no active staking nodes with mature coins on secure the network.

We are releasing a mandatory update to fix the stuck chain, stabilize the network and return the XLR chain to an operating state.

Solaris proof of stake does not give more weight to older coins or clients with longer consecutive uptime.  The only weight you have in staking is your (mature) XLR balance.  Think of the block reward each minute like a lottery and each mature XLR is a ticket that increases your chances of winning.

Well instead of complaining what they should be doing is staking to earn these 0.99 XLR rewards like I have been doing for the past day and a bit. Then once masternodes start rewarding again, people can set them up. Now is the time to take advantage of staking as it ends in less then 1,000 blocks from now and returns to normal.

I am not sure about what will really happen, but based on the basic principles of PoS (for all coins), you will probably get nothing from staking your limited amount of Solaris (you said that you have only 40 XLRs, which is extremely low)

How many coins did you stake  and get 0.99 XLR per day, Vella?

I divided my coins into 105 and 205 passed the time and the accrual happened to the account where I did not change anything.

I have only 40 XLR, so I guess I will got nothing from staking.

Same question here, how much do you make per day in %, and more important, how much time need to start staking? I want to avoid to keep online my pc/wallet 24/7, and if the coins matures and start staking in many hours, i can not even start POS.
I have some Solaris, but not enough for masternode, so i would like to take advantage of my coins.

It's been mentioned a number of times in the last few pages on this thread alone, the masternodes fix happens at block 263996 , It's currently on block 263459 so 537 blocks to go, Average block time is 1 min so its around 9 hrs away.
