we are good now, just received first MN 0.799 reward and first stake 0.199 cheers Now thats good news to start a weekend At the last moment at block 263995 it got very exciting. 20 minutes went by and still no block. Sweat in my hands DDOSsing the block explorer with my F5 button it finally switched to block 263996. I quickly checked if our fix did the job and it did. Masternodes now get 80% of the block value and stakers 20%. Happy weekend And how many times per day does MN get paid for the block? ------ Master Nodes = 540 60 sec Block. 60min * 24h 1440 = Block / 24h 1150.56 (XLR) / 24h 1150.56 / 540 = 2.130666667 (XLR) Master Nodes = 24x I'm not confusing anything?

Happy weekend Hey Kees I would like to personally thank you for all of your efforts in getting things stabilized and moving again. Great job to you and the team for taking your responsibilities to the network seriously, and making the hard choices necessary in order to provide a more robust network going forward. This is a great day for Solaris and is worthy of celebration. I'm cracking a cold one tonight in your name... and then another one for Solaris!!!!

Its actually very easy. In a perfect world there are 1440 blocks per day and a constant number of masternodes of 540. So we divide the number of blocks by the number of masternodes to find out how many payments one masternode would get. 1440/540 = 2.66 payments per masternode per day. A single block reward would pay 0.8 XLR to your masternode. Seen the fact we have 2.66 payments per day and 0.8 value we can multiply 2.66 by 0.8. 2.66 * 0.8 = 2.128 which means your single masternode will pay you 2.128 XLR per day. At current rate thats just over $13 per day per masternode. Hope this helps

And, please, answer in branch AMS, I asked a question

Its great to see Solaris back running smoothly again and hopefully now it stays this way and the dev team can concentrate on the other developments they have planned for the future. Good work Kees

hello keesdewit, Thanks for all your time, your dedication, and your efforts to help fixing serious technical issues of Solaris network due to PoS. I am just a little bit curious that whether you are official team of Solaris project, or you simply come from AMS project and joint Solaris as a new partnership between those two projects? thanks again, keesdewit, for your coming answers.

Happy weekend LMAO , I was giving it 10 more minutes before I was expecting a riot from people asking why it was stuck/not working etc. Good job guys onwards and upwards. I started monitoring the explorer at block 263988 to witness the switch live, 5 minutes after block 263995 and there was no 263996 I was like; "Eh! another wallet update " , Then, went to take some water to calm my nerves. Lo and Behold, block 263996, 7, 8... Welldone Developers

Hi all, I am a little bit curious about how many coins (minimum amount) to stake efficiently? In my opinion, I think stakers should have around 300-500 coins to stake efficiently, and they should not stake if their coins are lower than 100 XLRs. Am I right?
100XLRs bet works, but it's long enough. 200XLRs works better!

I'm interested to create a masternode, but first i have couple questions.. There will be a lot of mandatory updates for the wallet like past week? I heard that the reward for a masternode is around 1.5 xlr/day, is it true? The masternode run smoothly or it has some problems sometimes?

Your welcome sir. I am glad to be part of the Solaris team. All team members are very serious and friendly people. I am responsible for technical development. Seen the fact that AmsterdamCoin has nearly the same code base we can have good synergy. Eventually I will put all the knowledge that I obtained from Solaris into AmsterdamCoin as well. Result will be that both parties can have well working software and blockchains. Features can be build for one and taken over in the other. I see bright future

As i can see this address receive staking rewards with 2+ XLR coins https://solaris.blockexplorer.pro/address/SYp6twbczUy5dHGJ6BwjYZZRBrHvoKjQjWIf you have under 150-300 coins i think will take at least 12 to 72 hours to get first staking rewards

Cryptobridge say they were asked by Solaris Devs to stop trading and blick deposits/withdrawals. Trading was resumed over 48 hours ago but my deposit left Kucoin and is still on the way to Cryptobridge with a few thousand confirmations. Any help from you? Cryptobridge say the status is still same - deposits blocked on your request.

I know everyone will ask me to get to the first page but no - the android wallet is relatively new so a question - is staking available on android wallet? Just curious. Even just because of the cost of electricity mentioned above. I coukd run a wallet anywhere as I have my pc switched on for mining anyway. Just for information.
