I've seen that problem. You can use the bootstrap or find on which block you are stuck on. Find the hash of that block, use the debug console

Yes, a person did that. Not sure if he was a viacoin investor or not. If he is, he must be extremely altruistic on the bright side.

you can find the bootstrap on Viacoin.org which is 3.7Gb

A great quote by Warren Buffet is "buy into a company because you want to own it, not because you want the stock to go up." and I think that principal very much applies to crypto. Buy coins because you want to own/support the project, not because you want the price to go up.

Working on LN walllet, didn't receive an update from Ledger yet. Last message from BTCchip (Lead dev) was that his team will look at it.
