Viacoin has always been my favorite altcoin ever since I've heard of it.
Almost glad the price is so low at the moment, so I can buy again.

Ledger funds have been paid.
It took some time because I live in Europe and it had to be
On the name of someone outside Europe.

I chipped in the last required €4.5K out of my personal funds (I promised to buy the last 10% but that bitcoin dip made me pay some extra... Eh luck wasn't on my side)

Anyways the €20k have been paid.
I wanna thank Cliffa, Otoh, Mike, Miner Jones and all the other backers/donators for raising most of the funds.

I know it has been a few terrible months for altcoins
I can't speak for the other altcoins but I got some great things coming up for Viacoin.

I think you guys will like the new roadmap.

Looking forward to what lies ahead.  Coin has a great future ahead of it.

This is just my take on VIA, others can add their own opinion. Over the Summer VIA was working on implementing segwit with a handful of other coins (BTC/LTC/SYS/VTC) and now has been focusing on lightning network/atomic swaps, which is a feature all 5 coins (plus others) will soon have. Once LN is established, VIA is positioning itself to have anon feature in conjunction with atomic swaps - so it will bring an added value to BTC & LTC for anon transactions.

Aside from that, there are some other features being worked on that I won't be able to explain the benefit of well, because I'm not a techy guy; schnorr signature, color coins, etc. VIA also does merged mining with LTC, so there is an added benefit that it goes will with LTC similar to how LTC is often paired to BTC. I look at BTC = gold, LTC = silver, VIA = copper - and soon will have the added benefit of Styx (anon transactions).

When Styx comes online that will be a real game changer for VIA.  As far as alt tech goes I like how via strives to stay on top of things.  Will help them emerge from a cluster of a zillion coins out there

It seems to me that Viacoin is not just realised by the market. Like bitcoin years ago, noone understood the benefits of the coin, so we need to wait more, patience is the key. Who sells earlier than market realises via - lost.

The most active dev i've ever seen in alts, great work, always with connection to community - incredible.

hi @KindHearted thanks for the compliment, I am definitely not the best developer but I'm learning. For a "one man show" atm, I think I'm doing it decent.
But like scambus says, it's too much praise.

And yes I think it's hilarious that someone with another  Ethereum ICO coin in his profile talks about sheeps.
His last statement is a bit strange.. I don't think he should  talk for Bitcoin Core.

It is an amazing coin and it shows good growth. I'm very jerk that I did not buy it for $ 0.01 was the choice between VIA and VTC I bought the second.

I never had contact with Blocknet and Komodo.
I know the Litecoin devs (I'm in their slack Dev chat) and made some commits to the Litecoin repository. But that's it. Yes work will be done on atomic swaps. 

I don't know what ETC has to do in your story. That's not a SegWit coin or a coin that works on a decentralized exchange.
