In short, Viacoin has:
- Scrypt algorithm,
- merged mining with huge pool F2Pool
- Dark Gravity Wave v3 (quick difficulty retargeting)
- Segwit (shrink size of transactions)

What is coming (I might be wrong on some that are already implemented)?
- Lightning Network (smart contract functionalities  and instant payment)
- Schnorr signature (more efficient and provable secure algorithm)
- Non-atomic flushing (wallet more resilient)
- Colored coins (cointerparty equivalent on Viacoin blockchain to store more metadata)
- MAST (more efficient smart contracts)
- Viacoin RSK smart contracts (enables 2000 onchain transactions per second and 20.000 offchain)
- Anonymous transactions ( Styx payment hub)

If something is not on the roadmap, it does not mean I will take users not serious. I will always end up doing more stuff than the roadmap says.

I will revaluate the roadmap but I probably need to Charlie Lee first.

Btw what you did read was the whitepaper, not the new roadmap. The roadmap has to be released first

The mood among Viacoin community members is very optimistic and that makes me even more certain that this project is a good bet. Great devs with a great coin. This is gonna be huge! Waiting for 200-500k sats.
If one says it's too much then hmmm... just wait and see. Very low coin supply should also make it more and more valuable. There are lots of other projects with greater available supply  (10 billion) and their market cap is at least 10x the market cap of VIA... Compare it to just 20 million of VIA and you get the answer. Looking forward to see the REAL price of VIA.

Although I agree with you and think via is way undervalued right now, coin supply doesn't have anything to do with value and shouldnt be pegged why it should be valued higher.

Just fyi. win 64 wallets works fine - will load normally,  3years +.
However, client loading fails if attempt to use bootstrap listed (cryptochainer.com) on page one.

Letting it get caught-up slowly in background - no biggie, just a headsup.
