It's easy to forget BTCT. I am working on a Viacoin alternative implementation in golang. github.com/viacoin/viadThis will be used for the Zap wallet and Decred Atomic Swap. Charlie Lee (Litecoin Dev) tweeted to my personal twitter account that we could do an atomic swap between Viacoin and Litecoin. I personally feel, team is lacking in marketing department during the time of segwit activation there is hardly any price surge Agree. Love Romano's twitter account (you shitposter you!) - but it would undeniably benefit from a marketing push of any sort. I mean look at Verge if you look at what it really is, it's damn near ALL marketing. Do I have time/resources to do it? Sadly no. Hopefully someone will step up. Romano is already overclocking his brain for dev work and will no doubt start hallucinating regularly within the next 2 to 3 years. So yeah, we better speed this shit up.  No BS - Great work RNR |

Agree COMPLETELY that a marketing push is needed. Maybe call Viacoin Jesus? roflmao I keep Viacoin Jesus deep in my heart! He carries my portfolio moonward when all other legitimate coins are crashing.  Prior to beginning them, let's have in place the infrastructure necessary to support the result of successful marketing efforts. We don't want to get people interested in VIA only to be turned off by some unresolved pain point. Better the remain unaware than hate it. How about sticking to community building and outreach, such as Chinese/Japanese/Korean/Russian/Portuguese translations and a Noob Help Desk? IMO we need more than one dev before enticing end users. Also, building out fun/useful services like gambling and tipping bots will automatically attract new users. I suggest a clone of chopcoin.io to use as faucet and betting site. |

Yes, the news is that the sales volume is 45 btc... News is about short term BS. Stop following news and look at the long term charts. We're doing extremely well and the development is strong. Via is delivering much more than other coins and the market cap is still relatively low. I have been on rides like this before with DGB (17 - - > 2500) and GAME (2-->50000) and so many people missed opportunities by selling to early while focusing on short term drops. Don't worry about the big shakes now this ride departs. Think about the new life that you get once this rocket reaches it's destination. :-D |

Im trying to get this wallet sync. It downloaded 255GB in one day. I check my drive space nothing happen? Uploading isn't even over 256 MB. I don't get what is it doing for one day?

255GB? Which wallet version are you using? Try Viaelectrum. It is easiest to use https://vialectrum.org/ 64x client version 0.13.3 on there website. I did so many wallets before with that UI. They all sync without problems. |
