Do I simple sent them to my myetherwallet adress or do I need to do something else?
I have some experience with major coins but haven't sent tokens before.

yes, SNM is an ERC20 token. This means you can keep them in ETH wallets (first do a google search if your wallet is ERC20 compatible, because some aren't).

myetherwallet is compatible. However, in order to send the tokens out from myetherwallet  you need to activate them, i think (google can help with this as well).

Yes you can use MEW wallet with confidence but you have to make sure you are on the right website because so many fake sites around there. Make sure to check SSL certificate and green mark in URL.

2.to see the tokens on your wallet you can add / create  custom token:

What is mean of hard cap there is no active crowdsale for this project. Now you have to buy this token from active markets. This ICO finished long time ago and it was very successful.

Did you see the price of SONM? It hasn't gone parabolic like the other coins. Which means it's too early to sell it. If the current correction stays in this price range of 2.5k sats, I'm looking at a parabolic rise to 20k.
