They had released 5 updates just during august and if they keeps to maintain that level of development then i expect to see a usable soft already this year. Add here Masternodes, connor bot, real customers and we should see a real exponential growth.

Nice to see sonm smart contracts is safe to use. Never doubted it for a moment.

given its attachment to bitcoins price, I dont think we'll see sonm explode anytime soon. maybe by Q2, Q3 of next year we'll see the total market regain some bullish momentum which could drive prices back up towards the 1$ mark

its obvious you haven't looked into Sonm enough yet. If you did, you'd know their crypto iaas mainnet is live and their general purpose should go live in a matter of days or weeks. They've also just released their updated roadmap with a lot more details, which shows how they divide their focus to build this network and its customer base. I've never been so confident in the future success of sonm tbh
