I get the feeling the devs on this are being VERY wise in slow playing it right now.  Get some early blocks mined and block rewards down/diff up, before they start dropping exciting info and/or updates.  With a funded corporation behind it, and a seemingly VERY dedicated dev and likely group of devs, this has a ton of possible upside in the long term.

I thought that was clear to deduce - 1. Devs has got a pool 2. Sb said (maybe devs) that devs are mining this coin. I know that Nukeless will come here and say that they re not doing this to not scary new investors/new community members but for me it's a big deal like they will want more to push that project stright up not down.

Sb said that very longterm target for WYV is to make own payment option/processor for steam service..

The coins they are mining are being resold directly through their exchange site.  If you go check it out, they post when they have a supply available for sale.

Even if they are, it's still a fairly high coin return for miners, and without a pre-mine, it's still a more fair distribution than most other coins out there.

For those looking for some news:

I am in the process of making minor tweaks to the wallet and reskinning it. We are planning a look similar to the website to match the new branding; the skin needs matching font and icons, and I'm currently waiting on those from the design team.

In addition, I have been recently assigned development of the Windows wallet, so I will be setting up my build environment for Windows releases this weekend. Once the skin is done, I will crank out a new wallet release.

More news is forthcoming!

So the price will go up after the halving? We need some bigger exchanges for it and the price may explode.

Technically not a halving this time, but a 33% block reduction.  Still, less than a day away and that's usually causes some uptick in price/volume.  The real test will be at the next block reward halving, which will be 10 to 5, that will be the beginning of the end run of the PoW.  The third and fourth quarters this year should be interesting for WYV.  Still wish I could've gotten in a little on Wyvcorp, missed it by less than an hour  Undecided
