My hashrate on nanopool looks like waves, up and down. What could be the reason for that? Watch hashrates in miner, the server update data only once in every few sec or minutes it's not accurate.

I can write it milion times Do not use those basic straps... Almost no added performance and you are not even able to OC. My RX 470 Elpida has 30MH/s, Samsung has 30+MH/s. How u did it? I have ASUS RX570 STRIX 4GB modded bios 1500->2000 GPU 1300->1112 Memory 1750->1850 and i have 26MH/s per card stable and 850W power use. How can I do 27~ MH/s per card stability and lower power use? I have this model (ASUS STRIX RX 570 ) 1500->2000 timings 1300 -> 1100 gpu clock 1900 memory clock I get stable 27.6MH/s with roughly 116W per card On top of this I undervolt 50-75mv per card and can get to 104W per card stable. (100% fan) edit: just to add here are my settings in polaris. Note this is just what i've tested and done - it may or may not work for others but it does for me. If you find improvements that you've tested would appreciate replying and sharing. https://i.imgur.com/d7iJA2w.pngHope to help

Hi guys,
I got a Sapphire RX570 ITX yesterday which is doing quite poor. I have around 450-470 H/s XMR stock and can go up to ~500 H/s XMR when setting the RAM to 2000. The card consumes over 100-120W of power, which is also not so good. I tried with the latest Crimson on Win 10 x64 with Claymore and ccminer.
On ETH I have about 21 MH/s stock and 23 MH/s overclocked, but power consumption is up to 140W. Quite bad compared to the 21M/s I can get from a GTX 1060 3GB which only draws 70W! Also tested with Claymore miner.
Any idea what I could try to get higher rates without modding the BIOS? Or is this the normal range for a RX570. Didn't the 470 go up to 700-800 XMR and 25 ETH at stock?
Best regards
Stefan

What do you mine? XMR? Stock 470 for XMR is about 500-600 I think. You need to OC is you don't want mod the bios. Don't use claymore. Use XMR-STAK or SGminer, XMR-STAK has lower power consumption and little bit higher hashrates than Claymore, SGminer has higher hashrates and a little bit less power consuption than Claymore. I've made a guide: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1954245.0

Yes XMR. I updated my post as it was not clear. Also added ETH figures which are also not so good (21-23 MH7s). Which miner do you suggest?
But why is the 570 slower than the 470 with even higher power consumption?

They (AMD) went for better performance (gaming) with this refresh. You can achieve better perf/watt than an equivalent 470 when reducing the clocks/voltage on both. Try it

Is there a modded by BIOS available for the Sapphire Pulse ITX that I could give a try? What rates can be achieved with modded BIOS for cheap RX570 cards like the Sapphire in ETH and XMR?

So i'm testing some Timings I got from MatthewV and i'm applying it to one card only. Rebooting, Running DDU, rebooting, Installing 17.6.1 drivers, rebooting, running the driver patch, rebooting and then mining.
Stock the cards run 22mh/s. When applying the bios to 1 card it seems to impact them all. The current straps I am testing has dropped hash to 12mh/s across all 3 cards. Any idea why it is impacting all cards?
Memory is pushed to 2020 and core clock dropped to 1100 - 1150 and under volted to -90

My 5x 570 powercolor's are doing great. Stable 139.8 mh/s + dual mining @ 850w at the wall.
I just got 5x 570 XFX (black edition) in and man they are hell to get stable at a decent power consumption. Anything below 980 mV crashes them instantly.

850W that's bad. Right now I have 2x 470, 2x 480 and 380 at wall 640W.

If you have problem write on my e-mail. What timings did you use? It can't impact all cards! Write on the e-mail for support

5xx series is bad, hope the new batch could have some improvements. I'm using XMR-STAK I like it. It's simple and those web stats are amazing :3 SGminer has higher hasrates but not that much, around 5% for whole rig, but also higher wattage around 50W more at wall. And I don't like it, there are no web stats and utilities like Awesomeminer isn't really for me.

I'm mining Monero. I'm only testing speeds in dual eth Claymore, I'm not sure about wattage but it was something like 80-100W more at wall I think, so around 750W.

So I am experiencing something weird with the settings of my 570/470 cards...
Currently I have 5 cards in total, getting ~120MH/s in total. Nothing overclocked or tuned yet (just the "basics" 1500 straps copied upwards until 2000).
2x RX570 with 1075/1750 (Micron) - @25MH/s each 2x RX470 with 1230/1650 (Samsung) - @23,9MH/s each 1x RX570 (completely stock) 1300/1750 (Elpida) - @22,2MH/s
Now I tried to use Sapphire Trixx and MSI Afterburner to see how the MH/s change once i adjust the memory clock. What I did notice was that all my changes had no effect... on the 2x RX570 with 1075/1750 i put it to 1150/1950 (and hit apply) and Hashrate did not change a bit... GPU + mem clock went up in GPU-Z so I assumed it actually did adjust the clocks.
Am I missing something? Maybe a step that I need to do before?

Can't modify bios...not sure why but seems locked. Used latest driver but then i can't use GPU's so i went ahead and used the trick someone wrote here to use a mix of old/new driver and install from the device manager. Works fine but still, can't modify bios and can't use WattTool...anyone got an idea on how to fix that? https://i.imgur.com/1CTzhEU.png

Do you mean error 43? Use Ati pixel clock patch.

Hey guys, I am just considering to order a few RX570 (when they become available). Is there some kind of overview which one (Manufacturer / Model) performs best for ETH Mining? Maybe also what is possible by tweaking either BIOS or settings via Afterburner? Right now I am not sure which one I should buy... Thank you!
