How can i tell which slot with card belongs to? From CPU closest is 0, then next to that is 1, 2 and so on ?
on most boards you count from the cpu socket away. at first the large pciex16 slots, then the small pciex4 slots. edit: here a picture how to count https://www.pic-upload.de/view-35823125/IMG_0842.jpg.htmlso when i do nvOC gpuinfo 0. card 1. card 2. card The 0 card is at the one x16 closest to the processor ? I have MSI gaming m5 Z170

Or if on 19-2.0:

@papampi: thats all good but for nicehash there is no option to change the protocol. besides, please send me some wallet of yours to donate you a coffee for your great support in the last couple of months dude Add it like this for ethermine: NICE_ETHASH_POOL_PROTOCOL="stratum2+tcp"
for bminer use one of these, no idea which one: Ethash Stratum:"ethash", Ethash Stratum+SSL:"ethash+ssl", Ethereum Proxy:"ethproxy" ethereum Stratum:"ethstratum"
Check and let me know if it works for ethermine or not. Thanks for the coffee offer

Hello. Where I can download the latest version? I download the nvOC_V19-2.1beta_U16.04_N390_D180707 (for nvOC >= 2.1), but here is no miner for equihash 144,5 and 1bash is for old version. Also the update doesn't work.

Both bminer and new ewbf are capable of mining new equihash algos, and both available in 19-2.1 What do you mean by the update doesnt work?

SSH access is now being enabled to let you debug. This program will restart in a minure." Also I find 1bash and there I turn on TeamViewer, but after restart terminal it still did not work.

You should make a copy of 1bash.template and edit it so the latest changes takes effect. cp ~/NVOC/mining/1bash.template ~/NVOC/mining/1bash To edit from ssh: or if on local or teamviewer: gedit ~/NVOC/mining/1bash

I recently had a machine of 5 GTX1050 TI cards take a dump and then never come back. Said something like couldn't write DAG file. These are 4 Gig cards so should still be able to run. I even tried the newer 2.0 with same results.
Are these cards even workable now? Due to the upcoming dif bomb in Oct, figure I want to egg out all I can get from the systems before all breaks. Will have to see what's left after it and the proposed hard fork.
thanks thay

Hi Rev123, Just got same symptom and error message after doing nvoc upgrade, tried copying back original 1bash.template, still getting errors. Will mess around a bit more and see. Update I think the problem might be a missing end-quotes in the line v0038=... the version changes section towards the top of 1bash. Fixed it for me.

@papampi: I am so sorry but I totally forgot to let you know that adding the protocol line to 1bash worked. unfortunately I didn't test bminer but ethminer worked. I will have a try when I'm back from work ATM I'd like to mine X16R but I am not able to. I selected SUPRminer and ZENEMYminer. I wondered if these may need cuda9 in order to work?! Whats really sad: GPUs are idling but master-log I saw the message that everything is ok, even though nothing happens so rig was idling some hours. nvOC_19-2.1 beta Ubuntu 18.04 Dual-Cuda Nvidia 396 2018-09-07
- Ubuntu 18.04.1 with latest updates and patches - Dual Cuda support with Cuda 9.2 and 8 pre installed - Disabled ubuntu splash screen to show kernel message - All the latest miners - bminer dual mining support - CryptoDredge miner - New Hot temp shutdown - Fix bugs in WTM Switcher - New Coins and Algos - Bug fixes - So many new additions and improvements. - With so many changes, its recommended to use new 1bash. - Recompile miners may have some problems due to changes in ubuntu 18.04. - Telegram not working due to Ubuntu 18.04 moved to libcurl4, but many miners depend on libcurl3 As always extract the compressed file, flash your SSD/USB with the extracted img file Open small fat partition and read the README Download latest 1bash.templateEdit 1bash.template and save it as 1bash Notice: Do NOT remove 1bash.template from /NVOC/mining, copy and rename new one if neededEdit firstboot.json to enable/disable auto_expand. ("true" or "false") recompile miners on first boot ("false" for no recompile, "A" for all, The letter/number associated to each recompilable miner depends on the latest nvOC_miner_update.sh script you find in the nvOC_miners repository on GitHub) Auto recompile may take long time to download and recompile all miners. On first boot, firstboot gnome-terminal profile will expand partition to full size, after reboot it will add latest nvOC and miners from GitHub repo. firstboot gnome-terminal will stop and open mining gnome-terminal profile. May reboot again if xorg.conf needs update. Mega download link
