Will bitcoin be used to support terrorists?

On March 8th, Cheollima Civil Defense(CCD) released a video on its website claiming:” Han Sol, the son of Kim Jong Nam, and two other family members were met quickly and relocated to safety. “ And they receive bitcoin for financial support. This is something nice to do. BUt what if bitcoin be used to support some bad organizations, even terrorists? Is this already happening?  What i am worrying is if bitcoin be widely used for bad things, negative news would be all over and bitcoin price will drop. It will lead to tougher regulation. Do u think world leaders are willing to kill btc to make sure they can fight terrirists?

Bitcoin is anonymous. Thats why deep web is using it to pay or using it to transact with each other. Mostly bitcoin is used to buy Guns, Ammos, Drugs and other stuffs related to. And I think yes. Bitcoin is supporting the terrorists. As we can see now, Bitcoin is widely used online and offline as well.

Do not worry on how people are using bitcoin. Does any news channel even reported negative news about fiat money at all? Of course not! Bitcoin is not new in concept when you compare it with the fiat money. People use fiat money for drugs, prostitution, crimes, terrorism and does that make the fiat bad? one of the things that is very negative. they use bitcoin for crime. for me bitcoin is a medium that should be used with care. use and also a poor understanding could make things chaotic. we need to learn more, because in every technology there must be a case that tarnished its function.

It can be used just like other currencies but the advantages of Bitcoin makes it more easier for these deviants to adopt it as their main stream currency as it pays worldwide without any rigid verifications.

The guy didn't troll actually, but talked facts that, if ignored will get Bitcoins to nowhere but to dark. You must be knowing dark markets and other such black marketing concepts where Bitcoins are being used. You know some real Bitcoin cases that have terrorism as well as cyber crime included? There was a pharmaceutical company who was selling their drugs as well as other things in exchange of Bitcoins through various exchanges, and the other case here was of terrorists asking for extortion money in Bitcoins.

Some countries didn't accept or tried to ban bitcoin, but i am sure that people still used bitcoins, just for, of course, good things not bad like these. I think that not if all these bad things, bitcoin wouldn't be that expensive now, as bitcoin used to be very good payment option in black markets, because nobody can track who bought or who sold products when paying with bitcoins.

I do not think that this thing is going further with bitcoin. Bitcoin is mostly created for the use of internet to support the users of internet to transact their money to place of the world without any issue and terrorist will not longer get benefit from it.

I agree with you. Criminal groups are already using Bitcoin. It can help terrorist groups to receive donations from their supporters as the currency is pseudo anonymous and not very tracked yet as there are a few number of people in the world using Bitcoins.

We can't be blind about it, Bitcoin is surely good and helpful, but not only for the good people of this planet, but for all, including the terrorists, the worse disease of our time.
