Not that it will be but it already has been used for supporting terrorism, unfortunately. Terrorist are also closely watching new technologies that could help them in their activities and Bitcoin was ideal because of the anonimity and it was hard to determine the source of funding. Unfortunately we can't escape Bitcoin beeing used for illegal stuff.

They are already using fiat for their financial needs. Bitcoin does not directly enable them to do more.

It could make certain transactions easier though, but the same goes for any new technology. Bad people can always use it for their purposes as well. Does this mean we should stop technology development?

As scary as it is, Bitcoin can be used to any way and that of course, can be a good or bad act. It just only depends on the owner of it. The president of US can buy bitcoin and it's also the same with the criminal groups. They can also buy BTC and use it for terrorism. I think this is one of the reasons why the government wants to control the flow of BTC in certain countries.

So what? They didn't mention that North Korea had or still has secret factories where they manufacture Superdollars, a very high quality counterfeit United States one hundred-dollar bills?
According to witnesses factory where the notes are printed is located in the city of Pyongsong and is part of Division 39. They printed hundreds of millions, if not more of these banknotes.
So this is not a huge problem, but when North Korean government have access to bitcoin it suddenly becomes national threat? What kind of hypocrisy is this?

Thats why there are mixing services and i can say that they are earning decent because of illegal transactions or for those people who dont want to be traced. Yes its really possible to track bitcoin transactions but using mixing services would do the job on hiding yourself completely and it can really be used by terrorist or any other person do illegal activities.

We cannot control others on how they will use bitcoin just like we cannot control people on how to use fiat. Since bitcoin itself has its value, this type of usage is inevitable. Since you asked if bitcoin is used to support terrorist or any bad organization, I will tell you that nothing will change. Did anyone asked "what if they use fiat to do bad?", obviously fiat and bitcoin are the same at some point but no one questions the usage of fiat as far as I know.

and no, I assure you that there is no idiot in the whole world that is going to choose bitcoin (with 100% public, open to the whole world transactions) over easy fiat/cash such as using USD which is 100% anonymous, non-traceable and acceptable everywhere in the whole world.

Bitcoin isn't 100% public and USD isn't 100% anonymous.  Bitcoin transactions are public from the blockchain but they're pseudonymous as addresses are hard to link to individuals.  While Bitcoin isn't anonymous and those who don't take very careful precautions can be caught, it's a lot more anonymous than digital fiat (e.g. bank transfer) so if you're doing anything online, Bitcoin is the best choice since a lot of criminals already accept it.

Even cash USD, while having separate purposes to Bitcoin, isn't 100% anonymous.  Also, if you think that USD is accepted everywhere, you're pretty arrogant about how national currencies work.

Is this true? I think it is still not certain. But there is a possibility that they will use these bitcoin to send them because bitcoin can be sent not knowing who sent it and what will be doing with it, even who is the reciever of it. Even in my newbie days here I am also thinking that these can be done by people, though I don't think that it can be really used these efficiently by these terrorist. With these, terrorist can convert bitcoin and earn money, buy guns and other things that they can use to overthrow the government and hurt the people under it, that is really miserable.

Things like this are inevitable to happen, people will use any advantage of a currency to their favor,
but that doesn't mean bitcoin is a bad currency, terrorists have been using fiat, gold, silver etc..

Where is the link to this post,there should be one.I don't think Bitcoin purpose is primarily to help terrorist but these idiots have found a way to use this to their advantage because it is decentralized but the advantages of using bitcoin outweighs the disadvantages
