TESTNET #3 ANNOUNCEMENT
On Nov 7, Borz announced that he hoped we would be ready to start
STATIC registrations before the end of the year. At the time of that statement, we had yet to complete our latest two testnets which occurred in November.
Then on Dec 7, with these two completed testnets under our belts, we announced that we had identified a section of our
technology that is patentable (we have since identified two separate patents). This process is causing a delay because we cannot run our full version of testnet without first
securing a Patent Pending status.
Our progress thus far:
Business registration: XTRABYTES Ltd. is in final process of registration.
Patent descriptions: We are currently expanding on patent descriptions that will protect our technology and the XTRABYTES community for many years to come.
The Third TESTNETWith that said, we want to give all the new members something to get excited about. Therefore, for this testnet we are going to use the same, albeit larger version of the last testnet (with a couple of new features) so that everyone can see the speed of our network.
This gives us the opportunity to test many more STATICS because the last round of testing only had about 25 participants. Now, we have several hundred new members (thanks to the efforts of our marketing team) and it is our hope to get all 512 STATICS online so we can really give the STATIC system a go...
Be aware that this is
not the final code, as we are still running on the old chain which has been patched. We are bridging over to the STATIC nodes through the Zolt GUI we released a few months back. We believe the Zolt chain will be MUCH faster than you are going to see in this test.
Additionally, during this testnet, we will have a live version of XCITE running that contains X-CHAT.
Why is this XCITEing?During the testnet, our X-CHAT bot will be programmed right before our eyes by members of the development team. Some of the added features we have planned are:

CCRevolution: What is my X-CHANGE balance?
XCITE bot: Your X-CHANGE balance is currently 1000 XBY
XCITE bot: Remember to pay your X-VAULT storage fee of 20 XBY before tomorrow
These are just some examples, but the key takeaway is that we are setting up a smart bot for X-CHAT in addition to the individual communication functions.
In time, this system will work with all the modules that will utilize the integrated functionality.
Additionally: We will use the same wallet as we used in testnet 2, but with some added features, such as a testnet page. Also, we are going to publish an "empty shell" of XCITE with X-CHAT bot functionality so testers can chat with the bot. However, testers will not be able to chat with other users or make actual transactions from X-CHAT, as the application is not yet connected to the Zolt chain.
During the testnet, we will continue to release advancements on the XCITE application so that additional features and screens will be available for testers to run on their own computer. This will assist the developers because they will be able to pinpoint any errors that are occurring while running the XCITE platform. Additionally, the community will be encouraged to vote on the features of developing applications, as this is by all means a community project.
