I don't believe that it's just the inflationary nature of MNE that's been pushing the price down since its ATH. Clearly there are parallels with ETH and the Ethereum ecosystem as a whole. Other Ethereum backed tokens are essentially mirroring ETH. And, the whole crypto market has fallen into a sort of uncertain, bearish lockstep with BTC with all this SegWit stuff going on.

Just look at the comparison between ETH and MNE below.



I think that burning MNE for MNE v.2.0 will be great for the price, but remember, that MNE and other Ethereum backed tokens will probably always (on a macro scale at least) follow their bigger cousins...

Agreed with you this is nice analysis of current situation where people a lot of doubt and fear about upcoming event of bitcoin HF. But MNE will remain potential coin for its unique features and first ever slef mining contract on Ethereum blockchain.

yeap price is not that great like it was couple months ago, but i guess when price was 10-12 bucks it was overrated, we can achieve that high price really fast, so i guess now we will go slowly to it again, hope that 10 bucks will be achieved till the end of the year

The last few weeks people are continuously saying it's a good price to buy more, but more for what? MNE does not seem to move much anymore and looks to get stuck at the bottom.
It was P&D 2 weeks ago but for a month now it just sits low w/o much movement. I start to seriously doubt this thing we move up again to the levels of June, it more sounds like wishful thinking.
Let's see if the token V2 release brings some trading volume to this coin or otherwise it feels like a dead end street

Compared to other coins there is a lousy campaign going on. No Twitter announcements on a regular bases, No news flashes broadcasted outside of this thread, ect ect.
With the V2 release pending this community should increase the word of mouth to make sure the whole crypto community is aware of what's about to happen. This will attract some serious business to MNE no doubt

Actually reward amount will depend on the quantity of the tokens how many we burn through that transaction so bigger amount mean we will get more token in return. When this version will go live dev will post update how it will work.

While others took years, MNE took only weeks to grow so much that it achieve its all time high in May-June.

This is a great coin, believe and you shall see.

ok, you can't cancel or modify a smart contract so mne v1 will never die.
Maybe the dev could link a v1 genesis address with a v2. The v2 will survive only  if everyday you transfer 1,8 MNE from v1 to v2....

Yes but the chart starts to look a bit weird since the ATH was almost 2 months ago and after the ATH MNE went quickly surfing little waves around $2.
I think everybody who follows MNE with great interest is really waiting for something big that should be inevitable. To a certain extend I follow mr.pool who claims that campaigning around MNE is quite underdeveloped. There must be some kind of ongoing social media campaign to make sure MNE stays top of mind when it comes to new investors, it needs to resonate better. I see other coins doing this a bit better and maintaining higher ground during market dips while MNE drops back to the bottom rate once the market turns around.
Off course i believe in MNE's future and probably most of the regular posters on this thread but for the outside world MNE is just a coin and probably most people never got tempted to take a look at MNE. This is the purpose of increasing the share of voice a bit to make sure editorials or successful token releases are shared with a bigger audience then just this community

Dev was pretty strung on campaigning late may and early june. He got some attention out there. Timing the attention now is also important. Voices against ethereum network (it's a scam coin! Beware!) are not uncommon and now with all the news about the beepboop btc forking does not attract more money. Some are even running away from crypto.

Well I myself am not really interested in the day to day price. I believe the dev team is smart and creative and if they keep the bright ideas coming this project will do very well.

Underpromise and overdeliver. I really don't mind the devs not campaigning because at the moment, apart from some nice ideas in the works, there isn't really a product yet. The token creation service is a proof of concept (300 did really well though) more or less. I'd rather have this sit at 2$ for a bit while devs work their magic than have this pump to 10$ while there isn't any real substance to back that.

Some coin take huge time to explode not just MNE have a look at chart on coinmarket, you have to be patiente ,this is the only way to get profit on trade , if you dont have patiente  trade and crypto in general  is not for you , you should go and play at casino.

it's not even so cheap. I think price will slowly fall until update in end of august or till new bigger exchange will accept minereum.
