If anyone is on the verge of pulling out because of low BTC costs and high electric and needs a better place to host contact me. I have hosting options that are still very profitable

Also stupid question but I want to make sure im doing this right.

So I have 275 TH/s. Current Estimated time for new miner to hit full 5N: 46 days, 18 hours, 45 min, 14 sec

Pool is 28.4 PH/s at the 1 day mark.

So do I take 275/28400 = 0.0096830985915493 x 12.5 = 0.1210387323943662 and thats the amount I should expect from each block + fees at full ramp?

Not sure about your formula but best answer is: variables will change so any math will as well. I'd use CG's tool to help but with that kind of hashing you'll know after a few days where your derp will lay for this coming block.

Thats why im trying to figure out what my full payout will be to see if I have reached 5nd. Not sure how to calculate when you throw rentals into the equation.

Just a heads up. The numbers don't add up for renting hashpower just to make up the 5ND so I recommend against it unless you're getting it for very cheap (which you're usually not.)

There isn't much of a need to worry about being fully ramped up as every hash you submit counts regardless. I would look at others on active mining list that have similar hash rates and speculate from there but I think your 0.1 BTC estimate is pretty close looking at the pool this second.

I was also doing it to support the pool and hopefully finding a block. I found a 5.3 Trillion hash using the rented power, highest number I have ever gotten. I wish it was .4 higher!

A little pump is nice, no one is going to complain about more hash. There are a few here that push some rentals in at times.

I don't think it's a bad idea for finds. But for just ramp up is all we're warning about. I think most here are all about drinking scotch and smashing blocks.

Greetings and thank you for creating a Pool that is worth a damn.
I just recently got back into Crypto Currencies after killing my own pools because after 18 months it was only 4 of us mining them.
Unfortunately not soon after that I sold all of my mining rigs.

Now I am here at CKPool with a Gecko 2 PAC and three more on the way. Doubt that I will take part in solving the next block but it's good to be on a decent pool.
Perhaps after I build back up I will try the Solo Pool but for now, I will play with the rest of yall with the big rigs and see what happens.

Looking at maybe using this pools source to add another pool to the East Coast.

So I bought some expensive ass Japanese whiskey 100$+. THAT'S NOT JAPANESE!!! That's the problem! It was in the Japanese whiskey section at Spec's. Says Cask Strength Japanese whiskey aged in Japanese oak barrels. Come to find out, it was made in CHINA! Im blaming this for all my problems right now. Fucking Cheap god awful Chinese whiskey imitating some great Japanese whiskey.

A couple of questions if I may...

One, I have apx 110TH/s that I can point to ckpool.org. I was looking at the BTC.com link on ckpool showing the number of blocks found by ckpool. I have to pay my power bill with the BTC I'm generating - but am wondering with so few blocks found in the last 2 months by ckpool - can I count on payouts enough to cover power? I mean, with BTC at the current rate - if I need 4 blocks of payout and only 3 get found - I'm leery. Would like to try - but I HAVE to be making enough to pay the power. I'm paying apx $0.07/kWh. Just installed the LPM firmware on my S9's a few weeks ago - so not sure what my power bill will be, but prior to that I have been in the $700-$750 pre month range (I also have a few L3 variants running as well).

Two, does this pool allow the S9 variants to use the ASICBoost(LPM) firmware to be utilized? It has dropped my power consumption noticeably - I'd hate to have my power use ramp back up if not supported.

Three,  I assume from looking at the other miners on the pool that this would put me in the top 50 for being on the payout schedule each time - am I reading this correctly?

yeah 110 th means every block  you get paid .

variance can be hard.  you could do 35 th + 35 th + 35 th   nicehash, viabtc and ck.

I have been getting paid at 35 th almost every block  think 1 carry over in the last 20 blocks.

I am not sure if  asicboost antminer works here  ck can answer that.

Philipma1957, do you have any experience with KanoPool? They are smaller too - but maybe splitting between ckpool and kanopool - would have a better chance at 8 to 10 blocks per month which would probably give enough variance to cover bills better. And just out of curiosity - why ViaBTC? Looking at WhereToMine, it seems they are a little ways down on the lists for best payouts. Is it because they are not in China and to help spread the processing power - or other?

first off I used to mine kano I stopped.  My reasons are long and complex which I will not go  into it on this thread.

I mine mostly with ck I have 90th here and 55th on viabtc.

I rather have all my hash here but I can only handle some variance with the tight margins with low btc price.

so  the 55th at viabtc has zero variance I get  my share  the pools payout on every block 98 percent of every block is paid out.  I get my payout when I reach 0.01 btc  say every 3 or 4 days. 

but it is only 98 percent of the block with 0 for the fees.

on ckpool  we get 99 percent  of the blocks plus the fees   . 

so if luck is normal ck wins.
if luck is great ck wins.
if luck sucks viabtc just pays the same.

this is the only true way to flatten variance
some hash on a pool like ck
some hash on a pool like viabtc

if margins get loose  and price of coin goes up I will move more hash to ckpool and less to viabtc.

Isnt the payout on ckpool 100% not 99% unless your solo mining?
