I would argue that  100gh of gear should solo mine

Philip,

I also have a few 2PACs.

Would it be more wise then to load balance between the solo and multi ck pool to have chances on both?

And as backup as a pool might go down.

Well  the math   shows  they lose money on multi ck pool  unless  your power is free.

the math shows  they are a crazy high longshot on ck solo pool.

I have mine on ck solo

http://solo.ckpool.org/users/1JdC6Xg3ajT3rge3FgPNSYYFpmf53Vbtje

but  my pc has a good cpu and I mine an alt  which helps a bit.

I mine alt coins with https://simplemining.net...
I see BTC as the super highway and alt coins as taxis and trucks needed to move transactions.

A big pool failover has made the hashrate hit new record highs. Here's hoping we get some blocks while they're here.

Iirc, there's a "flaw" in that calc, in that it assumes the current hashrate was the total the whole time. It doesn't work as well past 100% as it does leading up to 100%.  Embarrassed

If you have to ask "why?", you wouldn`t understand my answer.

And they're gone without finding a block Sad A block popped up in solo instead.
However we seem to have gone up in hashrate concurrently anyway.
