Dear CKpool Moderator,

Happy New Year 2019!

I just started to mine in CKpool, and accidentally click the wrong batch cmd to run after tuning the NewPac, with a dot worker1 so how do I delete or remove it?

As pointing my resources to 1 address is advisable accumulating more hash.

Thanks. Smiley

I'm far from a moderator, but if you mean you have, for example, a worker with just YourBTCAddress and another with YourBTCAddress.worker0 and another with YourBTCAddress.worker1 then they are indeed, different workers but  if they're all pointed to the same User profile and YourBTCAddress then they are all accumulated to be paid to the one user called YourBTCAddress. If you don't want to use a certain worker, just stop using it... and re-start your miner pointed to the Address that you want. It seems like once you use a new worker name in your User profile, it doesn't go away (for a long time?)... I've had a couple of worker numbers that I stopped using stay on the user's page for several months... CK or someone else will have to confirm if they can go away after a period of not being used... so far, this has not been the case for me.

I've never witnessed a worker on the same address drop after time except for the solo pool. Then I'm three glasses deep of bourbon and getting ready to run some shitty tweets so what do I know? Wink

I'd recommend a fourth glass and then stay away from the tweeter machine... as for me, it's Caribou tonight... a nice fortified wine made in Quebec... I've only seen it at French Festivals so when I saw some in the Liquor Store it said `I might be a prelude to a block solve'... and, it looked lonely, so I took (several) home...Toast to a block OR for a block... either way tastes good! Workers would have to drop to zero herp before they disappear, and given the slow way they decay and the current pool hashrate, it could be years before that happens now...

Appreciate your reply, guessed I just have to leave it or decide in future to use it if any case needed for the additional dot worker1...  Grin
As long the BTCaddress remains the same.

Thank you, and have a great weekend. Smiley

Yea, it's just a small annoyance when you think about receiving the shares you've earned for every hash.

A huge jump, looks like maybe a failover?

Thinking things through, this makes sense as you seem to do everything as fair as possible, and that would be the `fairest' way to do this... As usual, you are technically correct - the best way to be correct! Smiley

Question for -ck

I'm not sure if anyone has asked this before, but, would it be possible to reverse the direction of the pool message thread in the CGMINER dialog box to read with the latest `Accepted-Rejected-Etc' at the top, instead of at the bottom? Even as an option?

This question might better belong in the topic=28402.16840 thread, but I didn't read through all 843 pages of that forum topic. I generally run 5 or 6 instances of cgminer per controlling computer... All my miners are GS and all of them are pointed to this pool, so I'm asking on this forum. When setting up all these cgminer instances, it would be kind of nice if the latest message line was at the top, closer to all the header information...instead of at the bottom. With 5 or 6 instances on one video screen there's lots of overlap - so if you see something go amiss in the header information, what's happening `now' is at the bottom of each window, and often hidden. It's not a huge deal, but I'm asking.

I hate bothering you. If this direction reversal is not possible, or you've already been asked 100 times by others about this, I apologize in advance...

Ouch! Pool is down to 9PH... Aside from the Halong/btcDrak cabal leaving, where did the other folks move to?

Sadly... Pool is UP to 9PH...

At the last block solve, mid-December, the rate was +25PH/s

One day later, down to 10PH/s
A day later, down to 5 or 6PH/s where it has remained until the past few days. In the past year, the Pool's Rate seems to go up (marginally?) whenever we hit 80-90% Difficulty... I'll let others decide if it's people/entities letting a bunch of us little guys do the heavy lifting to get to the 80-90% and then jumping in...

Personally, it doesn't matter as I always get paid for every share on this pool.

For those using `beefy' miners, the electrical cost must be becoming prohibitive considering the low BTC Reward values (if you use them to pay for mining).

BTC.com shows the entire pool at above 50EH/s in October, down to the mid 30's in December and just lately creeping over the 40EH/s level...

So where did everybody go? For many, the answer was `away'... hopefully they'll be back when the value of BTC goes back up again...In the meantime, my herp and derp keep growing much faster... and I'm in it for the long game.

hello

i hope I am not out of subject but, please tell me if it is a good idea to mine with Hive Os or if there is any other alternative tell me
thx

Being that it is HiveOS, I am guessing that your mining with GPU's..  If that is the case, gpu mining is actually discouraged here,
since your competing against asic miners (think F1 car against a pinto).. That said, any miner that can connect via stratum
can physically mine here.
