You can mine some BTC with the power you have without adding any extra, nobody will mine for you...
Read some pages back how this pool does payouts... He probably had a ton of hash here in the past...

You can check this address yourself when the pool finds the next block.
Please watch for this address.
What's next? 5BTC? 10BTC?
Can i mine some bitcoins without adding any hashpower? My address is 18mtqKcCZdi29R9efXRSvvGk3djua9WXN8
Please, mine some blocks for me if not difficult.

PS. This is not funny.

So  did you take 24 screen shots a day one on every hour  to show his mining stats ?  if not it is not much  info to go on.

the pool takes a 5n average.

so  if he mines 200 ph for 1 of every 24 hours  and 1 ph for 23 of every 24 hours  he has  223/24 = 9.2 ph average.

so right now he is here:
http://ckpool.org/#/work

2   1JPo4Na3LVTKSU311ny1k4pYGa9LSNTnR   2.51283445  if we hit a block right now he is owed   2.512 coins

here is my guy

40   16yLHLoeyuCLPMXkVpC3gyrRYvwRGwjKJr   0.01534094

here is buysolar my parnter

41   1JsCVv3KDhgHXdqTPsDeXWiUwgkhanJNUT   0.01440531

if we hit a block right now  we get  0.0297+

and we are not mining here at the moment.

but we get credit for 5n  which is about  7 or 8 months.   as it takes 7 or 8 months  to get up to 5n  when you are at 7ph

So I will slowly drop to zero from 0.0153
buysolar will slowly drop to zero from 0.0144

and your guy will slowly drop to zero from 2.512

of course if we mine big again  will go back up.

In fact I think I will mine 1 ph  with the 16yLH..  address  for the next few hours.

make it 7ph for about an hour  so I would be 7ph and the rest of the people would be 7ph

so your logic means I will get 6btc  if we hit a block  at I will have ½ the pool's hash

the pool does not work like that.

it takes my 7ph and spreads it out over 5n  which is much more like 10 or 20 th  worth of hash not 7 ph worth.

so I am now #2 on this list

current real time
http://ckpool.org/#/miners

2   16yLHLoeyuCLPMXkVpC3gyrRYvwRGwjKJr   90.7TH/s   38.3TH/s   32.7TH/s   1   11,074,444,831   26071575992   100%   34,896,184,781   0.01498295

but number 40 on this list

long term
http://ckpool.org/#/work
40   16yLHLoeyuCLPMXkVpC3gyrRYvwRGwjKJr   0.01517959

cause a full average takes months to be correct.

that is why your guy is dropping  so slowly

@  achkn  Thanks for saying I helped you out.

So my rental has ended.. so my mining is now  at zero hash.

but my earning is up to 0.01713752

35   16yLHLoeyuCLPMXkVpC3gyrRYvwRGwjKJr   0.01713752

I was

40 place about  0.0151  before the rental

It will slowly lower  until I decide to point gear here again

Basically  it is confusing  until you get the hang of it.

Hallo zusammen
German language is not allowed in this area, but you can ask in the Local German Mining (Deutsch) sub-forum.

Now first to me I'm new here and get my first GekkoScience NewPac tomorrow and want to run it in the ckpool. CGminer is set up so that I only have to wait for the postman. I hope I can learn a lot here and maybe there will be more NewPac.

This is offtopic, but please keep in mind that the USB stick NewPac will gather only dust while mining on a regular pool.
Sticks are more commonly used for solo mining as a so called 'lottery ticket'.

He is close, its right here: http://solo.ckpool.org/

Forum thread here: [∞ YH] solo.ckpool.org 1% fee solo mining USA/DE 251 blocks solved!

That said, this particular pool has a very low payment threshold:

Q: What is the dust threshold?
A: 5460 satoshi or 0.0000546 BTC. Once enough herp has been amassed to create this much derp, miners will enter the payout queue.

I have no idea how long would it take for a stick of those to reach 5460 satoshis. Doesn't this cause the same problem as the GPU miners?
Tried a mining calculator, and since its supposed to be a 22.8GH Asic, it should take two months to reach the minimum...

Sort of. Even though the NewPac is 10's of k times faster than any GPU rig it is still pretty slow compared to any full scale miner.

Hello everybody

NewPac can run 100gh pretty easily. Still though unless you have a hub or two full of these I would solo mine. Or set up one mining to your own validating node is fun project.

It might be broken for me - it shows that BTC is up above US$4000 again today! (Just Kidding - not broken) If this keeps up, some of those cats who shut down may soon return... Here Kitty, Kitty, Kitty... Wink

Yea, even I'm powered off say for some newpacs.

0.115 kwh is not great. Even though my rate is 0.06, taxes and fees average out to that.  ... .

We've got the second lowest rates in North America... but even at that, I'm not going into heavy iron for mining until BTC rises more, or like Philipma, I get access to some solar... NewPacs from MFB will keep my hand in on this pool until then... another 9 NewPacs with GS Hubs on the way from Oregon... Thanks again, and I hope they have a little warm air attached to them... It's warmed up to minus 12C (about +10F) today! Oh well, at least it helps to keep the chips cool! Wicked Cool?

imo, the only way that thought works out is if you literally can't afford the cost. If you believe the price will rise, then every coin you don't mine between now and then is that much you are shorting yourself and giving to someone else.  Wink

If you have to ask "why?", you wouldn`t understand my answer.
