a little blurr but i'm sure many can decode them, the 580 8gb does up to 30.2-3 ish but it does jumps up & down a bit

i have an armory wallet that has 5 btc in it. did it back when btc was arount 5 bucks or so. i dont remember the password so i am in the same boat. i can fire up armory, look right at it and not be able to do a thing with it..

if you stick in a NVIDIA card and run Claymore ETH, it should detect that card along AMD cards since Claymore supports both GPU types and can run both at the same time.

if you stick in a NVIDIA card and run Claymore ETH, it should detect that card along AMD cards since Claymore supports both GPU types and can run both at the same time.

disagree since the nvidia would need nvidia drivers and as far as i know  smOS  does not load them.

but I could be wrong.

My spring allergies went nuts this  year .  I did get one thing done today.  I have been cleaning the house up looking for the pico and the interface board.  So I emptied about 5 boxes of junk.

I will keep cleaning house looking for the parts.  Wish me luck.

if it is doing eth with claymore  drop the intensity  say 7,6,5,4,3

  8 is stock intensity.

I managed to limit freezes with -li 10
But I loose lot of hash this way.
Will try the -ethi but I would like to understand why this is happening !

sure  it happens on a pc you use for other stuff correct.


So

A)  do you have an ssd with room for this pc?
B) do you have an i5 cpu or better for this pc?
C) do you have 2 sticks of ram  say 8gb each total 16gb?


I have found most pc's  mining don't  do too well at other tasks  without  parts like  the above in  it.

I changed PSU for a new Evga 850 Platinum but freezes remained.

Trying -ethi 1  (25MH/s instead of 29MH/s) while typing, and praying to not be freezed before sending the message

could be you have a program conflict of some kind.



Back to me the fifth  nvidia 1080 ti arrived today. 2 more on the way.

I hooked it up   640h 195 watts for entire rig.  67 tdp  150 + core 300 + memory 70% fan

If it's freezing while you are working.. try reducing the mem clock while you're working.. and can increase it when its only mining
