Can anyone who has burst mining experience give me some advice?  I ran the plotter and it finished.  I started up the mining process and paid my 1 coin to set my pool.  It told me to put my passphrase into the first box and BURST-32TT-TSAC-HTKW-CC26C into the second box, so I assume it should be mining at pool.burst-team.us.  I click start mining and it is running and it looks like is doing what it should be doing.  Every now and then I get a message that says a deadline was found, but there aren't any coins coming into my wallet.  It has been almost 24 hours now, and nothing.

If I go to the pools website, I am not even sure how to check my stats, nothing really shows up on the page.

Any advice?

Your address or name should show up at the pool!
It's been a long time since I burstcoined mined

Pointing the entire farm to Nicehash ZEC for a week of bliss.....

I am speechless what people pay to rent equihash....

I wish I have a massive 1080Ti farm....

Do they pay higher than mine direclty?

Sometimes, and they're usually at least close - plus their miner will switch algos for you automatically, though sometimes it's slow to do so.

You can also point your miners direct at their pools, not using their software, which is nice for ASIC sometimes but usually isn't optimal for GPU rigs.

BURST pools only pay out once a day, or when you exceed a certain threshold (depends on the specific pool), as a general rule. Don't panic 'till you go 2-3 days with no coin incomming into your wallet - if you're getting "reported" and "acknowleged" deadlines you should be fine.

The pool websites, however, are an active pain to figure out what's going on. REALLY REALLY poor design, and seems like there's only 2 versions of the software the various pools use - and BOTH are ick.
In fairness, you don't have a "Hashrate" as such, so the ONLY thing they can go by is when you report a valid deadline.

I'm no longer legendary just in my own mind!

I am doing 110 usd a day. In the garage.

The solar array is chugging along.

The 1 ½ r4s are in my friends office.

I would have to say  this has been the best stretch ever for my mining.

BTC has crossed the 2300 mark.

Im finally back to >0.5/mo on my personal machines at home...  Haven't seen this kind of number since BTC was ~200....

I almost wish I had not spent that $$$ on my surgery recently but rather on a miner instead;  I would have been able to pay for 2 surgeries by now if I had....

Just curious - what is the space you allocated for mining BURST?

Guys can i run two six card rigs off this power supply if I also use a small pc power supply for each mobo/cpu?

If so, how would I start them up?
Turn on server PSU then turn on pc PSU's then push power button on Mobo's?

it has only 6 pin power cables supplied. you will probably need 6+2 pin cables for the most of the cards. if you ask me, i don't trust those PSU's somehow, but maybe because i never used this kind of.

That 2400w should power all your GPUs and pico solution to power your mobo, cpu etc.
This pico solution should connect to the 2400w PSU too.
I dont think this is a case of getting 2 x PSUs to be activated at same time.
Correct if I am wrong.

you are correct.

and at the question  of how to turn the mobo on.

it should have a power on setting in bios  which simply fires up the mobo when the psu turns on.

I have all my GPU rigs in my 2nd farm with server PSU and pico supplied by yslyung.
During setup of rig mobo, just enable powerstate to ON after power down.
There is also a on/off switch on the breakout board itself.
This 2400w would be a really nice PSU because you can have more GPUs and also dual mine without having to worry about stressing the PSU
The PSU I use is 1200w 94% Platinums and run ETH only at 1050w and ZEC just under 1000w -- 6 x RX470 OC 1169/1900/powerstage 0 on smOS

yslyung  sent me

all good kit.

I am using it to power an r4  as my real life world is a bit messy

but I will be running a second setup soon and use his gear to run it with a thread.

Thanks guys for your help

@64dimensions
Onboard display adapter is disabled on bios
+ I made a test with SMos instead of Win10 and all GPUs were recognisez. So it is a windows issue I think

@Aries
+1 for what ? you have a similar issue ??

Another RIG built on a similar small SSD 60gb is working fine with 7 GPUs , so I don't think it is a SSD size issue.
I'm open to any suggestions.

-----------------------

Does anyone have a solution to the first GPU1 not working?
I have swapped out GPUs, but GPU1 never works.  I have reduced to 5 GPUs, 4GPUs...but still GPU1 does not start.  I have moved the emulator...no change.

Any Solutions/Experiences?

Maybe we have a defective MB ?

But why did it work for me with SMos in that case ...
I might stick to SMos with that RIG if I don't find a solution in WIN10

Thanks all for the info on the PSU's.
Those little Pico's are awesome.Take up much less room and generate less heat than an ATX. I found a couple 160w models on Ebay. The 2400w server PSU's should arrive next week so I can start my first rig build.

Am mining Skein with 1 each 1080ti, 1080, and 980ti.

Alexis miner:

ccminerAlexis78.exe -r 0 -a skein -o stratum+tcp://skein.mine.zpool.ca:4933 -u 1CHNWD6KFsVgfGf3jEKLx5N3MJCp1oGRon -p c=BTC -i 25

got home from work at 3:30 pm and found the miner had shut down around 6 am.

odd...

First off, you should try this to see if anything changes:

Code:
ccminerAlexis78.exe -i 25 -a skein -o stratum+tcp://skein.mine.zpool.ca:4933 -u 1CHNWD6KFsVgfGf3jEKLx5N3MJCp1oGRon -p c=BTC,skein,stats

I know its a minor change, but may have something to do with it.
