I am curious how Newcastle will do over the next couple of month when it comes to signing players. They are said to be the richest club in the world now, but it looks like nobody really wants to play for them. It is said that Newcastle offered Dembele an astronomical amount of money but it seems he declined the offer. I am not sure in how far the news I heard are accurate, but it remains to be seen how many players are willing to play for Newcastle just for the money.

I am not entirely sure if a nearly no-name player would be great. Don't get me wrong, if you are a football fan then you know him, if you want success for your team then you get him, if you want to tie your future for a guaranteed player then you get him, all arrows show that he should be bought and he would be the perfect candidate.

However, we need to realize that this is also a business as much as sports, if you buy Kane then you will make a shit ton of profit from buying him, from jersey sales to more seats sold and so forth, and he will bring in success as well, plus he is British so he is easier to like by most fans. I am not saying that Kane would be better or Vlahovic would be better, I can't know that but financially I am sure that even though he would probably cost a lot more, Kane would still bring in a lot more profit to City.

Maybe Pol did not do much good, but I think you just did not notice it. He very often remained a key player. I remember him for his beautiful goals, especially longshots

So he is probably going to leave for free and cash in a big check for his signature at another club. It has become more common recently that players do go for free when their contract expires as they can essentially charge hand money similar to what the new club would have to pay while a contract is running. I think Fiorentina have to sell Dušan Vlahovic what ever his club destination about Manchester City or Arsenal, learn from many greatest player from Serie A make club keep stay their player with most higher price until next year they back to bad performance like Genoa player Andrea belotti. McGinn seems to be the target of big EPL clubs because after Sir Alex proposed him to Manchester United to buy this player, now they have a rival, namely Liverpool, because Klopp has been passionate about this player since last season and their plan is to recruit this player to replace Wijnaldum.

On the other hand, Aston Villa set a price that is quite expensive because they really want to release McGinn at a price of 50 million pounds.
