-snip- Perhaps Mourinho would then even be an good option for ManUnited.
It is a bad idea to bring back Mourinho to Man United. There is no something special with him, he is no longer a special one. The current reputation of Mourinho as a coach doesn't look good, there are many other coaches better than him. Actually, Zidane should be the best option for Man United, but looks like Zidane doesn't want to manage Man United players. I think Man United needs to consider offering something interesting to Zidane to make him go to Old Trafford.

I doubt if zidane would want to Coach Manchester United, a lot at stake.
In my own opinion, German coaches are dominating the league currently all at the top clubs, a German coach should be introduced to manage the current players at Manchester United.
Take a good look at Pep Guardiola,Jurgen Klopp and Thomas Tuchel all doing great.
Manchester United needs a total change else things get out of control.

Zidane is a suitable candidate if only he would want to take up the job.

Various sources have reported that Zidane is not interested in taking over Manchester United and Im pretty sure that Zidane wont be tempted even if by any chance Manchester United decided to raise the offer or some sort. Conte was taken by Tottenham and there isnt any other potential candidate isnt it so either Michael Carrick or Kieran McKenna might take over that position probably atleast until this season is over

Zidane is the only one who can go to Manchester.

Cr7 is a big "treat" to any coach and maybe only Zidane can handle it.

In Italy, we call it "hot potato", something hot in hands that no one wants to keep it.

Ronaldo at his age is still a big player but the whole team needs to play for him.

AS Roma has lost again, this weekend against FC Venice. You can also see how the management is still behind José Mourinho, but in recent weeks the formulations have softened and the coach can no longer afford many bad games, otherwise he will be fired. Perhaps Mourinho would then even be an good option for ManUnited.
I don't see why Man Utd would sack Mourinho three years ago, put Ole in charge only to sack Ole and put Mourinho back in charge? It makes no sense considering its for the same reason - poor performance and bad results. Mourinho is in the same situation as Ole ~ On verge of being sacked so there's no chance he might replace Roma. Zidane is a suitable candidate if only he would want to take up the job.
Never say never and anything can happen. But I still agree that it is very difficult to imagine that the Manchester United management, in the event of Solskjaer's dismissal, will consider Mourinho's figure as a priority. However, I still did not compare Mourinho's situation at Roma and Ole Gunnar's situation at Manchester United, because there are completely different things here. With all due respect to Roma, it is difficult for me to put the current Roma squad and the current Manchester United squad on the same level. It is not for nothing that Jose Mourinho has already begun to openly show dissatisfaction with the composition and transfers of Roma in front of the club's sports director. It is also worth mentioning that Solskjaer has been in charge of the club for the third year, and Mourinho has just joined the Italian club.

on the other hand, I still can't say anything if the MU management is still on the side of Ole to this day.
maybe there is nothing instant and have to believe in the process but it's season 4 now and MU is still stagnant, no change.
I am also a bit surprised that Man United management decided to not fire Ole. They seem to let Ole managing Man united until this season is over. They may have no better option to replace Ole since Zidane refused to manage Man United. So, Man United prefers to gamble by letting Ole continue as Man united head coach. Personally, I think it is not a good idea, Man United may end this season with no title. Moreover, if there is no significant change made by Ole, we only can expect they can finish in the top 5.

I don't think Mourinho could fix ManU awkward results and performance honestly. I find Zidane better although he doesn't seem to care a lot about managing them. I don't think even ManU management is thinking about such move.
Roma position right now is +/- the same as the previous years which is disappointing regarding the spending on the coach and new players.
He's not a happy one as before, Mourinho Strategy is easy to read opponent, he also makeover the club by giving a chance the young players as starters, a brave thing but not showed as expected. He is also no longer suitable If comes back to MU, he already knows Premier league competition which will get him fired quickly than Ole.

I heard about Ralf Rangnick, but it looks impossible also to replace nice guy Ole.

Manchester United's Dean Henderson is under consideration by Newcastle United on their hunt for a new goalkeeper, according to reports.

Newcastle are now among the Premier League's richest clubs after their Saudi Arabia-backed takeover and are counting down the days until the January transfer window opens and they can finally spend some of their newfound wealth.

The Magpies even have a new manager at the helm, at long last, as former Bournemouth coach Eddie Howe has taken the reins at St. James' Park.

It appears that a new goalkeeper will be one of the club's targets in the new year and The Sun reports that Henderson is on their shortlist.

Very true. I think that when they signed Ronaldo they thought this is going to be an easy season. But no, Ronaldo can't do anything without the whole team. They really need to change something, but as you said: this is going to cost them a lot. The more they wait, the more they lose.
Ronaldo was just signed out of impulse by Manchester United because Manchester City had shown interest in him. Manchester United had no plan to sign him from the beginning, Ole is clueless and has no proper plan and identity of playing style Manchester United should adopt.

Look at how United Play. Do you think they have any identity? Like the Ferguson Identity, The Conte Identity?
This whole Ronaldo transfer was not Ole's plan from the beginning. I mean Ole had a working system that suits his philosophy  but the club have some big names that sits behind to dictates and make decisions for the club. This whole thing is not helping.

Take example like Arsene wenger, leaving Arsenal, he doesn't interfere with transfer decisions and coaches appointments.

Take Kenny at Liverpool, still doesn't influence transfer and coaches appointments...

Only Sir Alex Ferguson will bring successor, only SAF brought Ole and still SAF keeping ole till now..
Because they trust the process...

If he wants to be in charge, why didn't he go for the DOF so he could just take full charge like I said earlier...

U won't expect everyone to have the same story as yours.

Some clubs are not just football clubs anymore. Real has been doing it for a decade already, Manchester United is the same.

For most clubs the most important thing is profit, and Ronaldo will bring profit to United. The board will hope that he can also influence the team on the pitch in a positive way because he still is world class, but they won't care much if he doesn't.

He could have been incorporated better in this team and him being there is now causing them issues because the team was set up differently. Rodgers will probably make it work a bit better, but the same structural issues (no balance in the team) will remain until next summer at least.

So sure of himself because the owners only care to be in the UCL and no worries about winning trophies. Three years gone by zero growth nor development. Waste of time. Ole only cares for his paycheck, just like Niko Kovac was at Bayern! Flick came in and the same players became superb. Ole is the issue and the soonest they do something about his job the better for the fans or else….. more wailing and lamentations.  The truth is this, the club mentality is rubbish. That is what has trapped the fans with players and a Manager, who consistently underperform but the management cannot get rid ofhim. Continue being ostriches, live in self-denial and suffer as long as you can bear. You will wake up to the truth, no matter how long it takes.

I think that Mourinho is still a good coach but he definitely lost his aura of being the special one, after his last few stations of a coach were not that successful. His biggest achievement was definitely the champions league title win with Porto in 2004 but his first time with chelsea was also pretty successful even though they did not manage to win the champions league title then.
I have to say though, that the teams of mourinho never played really attractive football but he really managed to make the entire team fight for each other. So he really is a great motivator or at least he was, but i am not sure if this is enough anymore.

Highering Morinho as Manchester United coach will be the last thing the boards will do.They can't bring back a coach that has managed the team before, and during his tenure,he did nothing extra - ordinary.
I understand they are in search for a new coach, but that doesn't mean they will higher an average coach.Morinho is now seen as an average coach,he has nothing unique again. They should look for other options, some one who can build the team again, and turn things around at the club.

I think you’re the only guy in the whole forum who thinks that’s a good idea.  Cheesy  Mou’s best days are behind him imo.  And I can tell you that I had a soft spot for him as a football manager and I was giving him the benefit of the doubt when everybody in the gambling section was saying he’s done.

Favorite to be the next Aston Villa manager is Steven Gerrard.  What do you guys think?

According to the news, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is still expecting to be the Manchester United manager in their next Premier League game against Watford. There is an international break right now and I think that there is more than enough time for the Manchester United board to search for a new manager and make their final decision. We don't know if the main problem of the team is the management. But I don't like Solskjaer's managing style and there are so many people who would agree with me.

As for me I don’t think Manchester United are in a hurry to get a replacement for OGS from what I can see so far, a club as big a Manchester United shouldn’t be this patient in getting a new coach, take a look at Chelsea for example, Frank Lampard was as bad as OGS is right now but he was replaced as soon as he started lacking behind tactically and loosing games.
Jose Mourinho isn’t an option for Manchester United. I think  Antonio Conte would have been a good replacement for OGS but the Manchester United board are too slow in decisions making, OGS has nothing else to offer and I wouldn’t be surprised seeing some big footballers wanting to leave the club by January if nothing is done.

A thigh injury suffered during France's training could keep Pogba out for 8-10 weeks. The French National team will be affected, but not Manchester United, as the club has other options. Let others show their quality now. Pogba's injury allowed Fred to fill in. United could try Donny in his place. Pogba has no injury records. He's always in good shape, best wishes for a speedy recovery. Anyway, when he comes, MANU will have a new coach!

As bad as it is for Manchester United at the moment, I don't believe mourinho will want to walk such path again after so much bullying from the so called legendary players of SAF era after giving the club their first europa Cup title in years. Its rumoured that Zidane prefer Psg to Manchester United, so Manchester United are stucked with Ole Gunnar since Antonio Conte  ignore their offer

Yeeess!  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy  I hope Ranieri sorts his squad out and makes the match very competitve.  Lolol.  I wonder how much more pain can Man United take before giving Solskjaer the sack.  It’s not like it’s gonna get better for sure under him.

And here’s the thing, Man United is will be playing vs Chelsea after Watford then against a rejuvenated Arsenal after that.

I don't get why Manchester United are still insisting on keeping Ole Solskjaer at the team. Is it still not enough? Really? I wonder what they should do more to decide to sack him. It must be already obvious that his system is just bad for this team. I respect him of course but this doesn't mean that Manchester United supporters have to see him at the team from now on. I'm not a supporter of this team but I'm sad to see this capable team in a poor condition like this.

I don't get what Ole Solskjaer is bringing to the table. His predecessors were not shown this kind of mercy and tolerance. David Moyes, Jose Mourinho, these managers didn't do half of the damage Ole has done and they got kicked out as fast as they came. Why is Manchester United still shielding Ole Solskjaer. The fans want him gone is Manchester United waiting for a boycott by fans before they swing into action
