It seems United management finally do the right move. I did not follow Rangnick career, but what I read seems rather interesting. He sounds like the best choice in the post SAF era and it will certainly bring some improvements.

I think in my opinion Carrick also deserves to be the interim coach compared to Ralf Rangnick who was brought in from Lokomotiv Moscow.

one by one the current coach candidates refuse and now Steve Bruce could be one of the additional candidates and this is in line with what Schmeichel said in his interview some time ago who did say that Steve Bruce could be the right one for Manchester United.
But even if that's the case, there's still no strong guarantee about Steve Bruce because even though he's a MU legend, but in terms of coaching he was even fired from newcastle

Yeah I also think Carrick is great as an interim manager for now. I think they want someone who has good track records and Ralf Ragnick have that actually. He holds a good experience of managing team as compared to Michael Carrick. United boards wants someone experienced and given the situation team currently is in I think they are thinking it right but I am not so sure if Ralf Ragnick is the right decision.

Really? I'm afraid the repercussions of Ole management will eventually get this bad and end up forcing Carrick without a definite purpose at Manchester United. I didn't find any valid information about it, whether the issue was clarified or just a confusion. How could a club as big as Manchester United be ignored like it doesn't have a reputation that any manager can consider.

seems Carrick couldn't fit in the shoes of SAF and all past United managers to take up a permanent role. But Ralf Rangnick, who is this guy..need look him up asap, will he deliver and make a name for himself as he goes on the spotlight to manage a united side that's low on confidence, needs a defense overhaul and look forward to the transfer window to see who goes, who stays and who will be joining  Manchester united...just hope these guys aren't rushing things.

This is exactly the same reason why I believe Zidane will go to PSG as well. The reason why Zidane "told" united he rejects the offer was that his wife didn't want to leave France which is where they live. If Pochettino gets a huge offer, he will resign, leave money on the table and not ask for anything which is fine by PSG and both parties can agree very easily, Pochettino will leave for United where he will get the backing of SAF and that means at least 2-3 years of testing anything he wants and he will have money to buy whoever he wants instead of owners making grand purchases for PR reasons, and he will be happy there.

On the other hand, Zidane will have players he could work with right away, he will still be in France like he wants to (or his wife) and he could get UCL if he could turn this team around. We are still in November but PSG doesn't look like a stable team just yet, they are great and could win it all but need to be stable, Zidane can achieve that.

Just speculation only Zidane close agreement with PSG because Pochettino has one year later contract with PSG and still not any issues about his position not safe on PSG. I honestly want Carrick to take that position but honestly the fans right now are quite brutal so it is much better for someone else to take the blame for the rest of this season. There is a lot of expectation from the fans for Manchester United to atleast take top 4 or to win the UCL and honestly, Carrick might not be suited yet for this.

Well atleast not for now so instead of letting Carrick take the blame for unsatisfied fans because of the team's performance, I'd rather have someone else take it atleast until this season end. We had a bad start this season and I wouldnt even expect alot this season

I honestly want Carrick to take that position but honestly the fans right now are quite brutal so it is much better for someone else to take the blame for the rest of this season. There is a lot of expectation from the fans for Manchester United to atleast take top 4 or to win the UCL and honestly, Carrick might not be suited yet for this.

Yeah, I have heard of it. But I'm not sure about whether he is the right choice for Manchester United. Maybe it is going to be a six-month contract but I don't know.    It is very critical for them to make the right decision now as they have to play much better to make up for the losses they've left behind so far. Otherwise, not much thing would change about them and I can't even imagine at what place they would end the Premier League.

AS much as most Manchester United  fans would have preferred to have Zidane as their coach, I don't think he would have lasted in England. The premier league is tough, and every game needs a different approach and before you get to that ...United is a team that's currently in the ICU, and people want an immediate impact of a new coach to be felt which wont happen immediately! United should have kept Carrick as the care taker until such a time when a coach was scouted, but since its been done lets see what happens.

Ralf Rangnick have been permanently become new coach for Manchester United although as interim coach position, exactly he will be manager for Manchester United for few months later and he has chance with primer league and champion league. All rumor about Zidane and Blanc have gone right now maybe depend next primer league season will Zidane change his mind or not, how ever Germany coach get good effect like Chelsea under Tuchel give champion league trophy for the fisrt year and Klopp success give primer league and champion league trophy for Luverpool, now United fans waiting for what can give by Ralf Rangnick, will be success like Tuchel and Klopp or not.

Rangnick is a weird choice - I was really surprised when I saw it announced. He's a tough character and not an easy person to work with, and his last role in Russia was more of a back office one.

Maybe it's United's idea to test him like this in order to potentially give him a back office role at the end of the season - I heard that they are interested in that. I don't understand what will they be getting with him as an interim coach though - maybe the players will have to impress him if he will be in charge of assembling the team for next season.

Rangnick and Woodward together in director/consultant role? This will be really fun to watch.
