Real Madrid have confirmed that three of their players, Gareth Bale, Isco and Marcelo will leave the club this season and it is possible that the January transfer window will see these three players looking for new clubs. Isco should be able to get a position in midfield but rarely gets playing time so he has to find an alternative club that can provide a regular position for him in midfield, so far there are no rumors which club will be his next port.
It's really about time they left the club, I'm actually surprised how this players comfortably sit on the bench for so long without forcing an exit out of the team, mind you that they are not that old as well, Marcelo is 33, Bale 32, and Isco is just 29, they still have something left in their tank to offer, and it's basically already clear they can't do that in Madrid, so why not move on.

Having said that, they have been out of the game for quite a while, so many teams will be reluctant about acquiring their signature, Isco is a really talented player, and tbh, I do not know exactly were things went wrong for him, maybe a move to the EPL could be good for Isco, but the fact remains that neither of this players can actually make it into a big team anymore, they'll have to make do with average/below average clubs.
I think bad decision with Isco only he still on gold age and most creativity as Real Madrid midfielder but for Bale and Marcelo I think both player have over and not in game play for Ancelotti, but they are keep as legend for Real Madrid and give champion league and La Liga trophies but now they have over and looking new young player to replace their position.

I haven't been following Madrid very closely lately, but Bale really took it to the limit with them. He had a big contract signed so he didn't even care when he didn't play. Honestly I don't like that attitude as I think every player should be willing to play or otherwise they lack passion for the sport.

Did Bale play recently? Zidane didn't like him, but what about Ancelotti? Bale can be so strong if he wants to, but he can also be so weak. Back in Tottenham he was a real weapon every single game.
A weapon that was stored too much and lost more than half of its power. Apart from his performance with Wales and some Spurs games, from time to time, you tend to forget that he is still playing football and that he is with Real Madrid squad.
No one appreciate a lazy worker playing golf while getting paid for something else. It is a pity how he ruined his career for money. This is my feeling of course and I respect others one.

Oh, are they still there? Cheesy

I mean I think is at least 2 years since they are not in the squad plans.

Can be Isco recovered or is he a finished player?

very true which is why i have always said that ever since football was seen to be a profit making and money making business its lost its originality of entertaining fans. Players get into contracts which promise a fat pay cheque and there after these guys just stay relaxed. Talking of Bale, he just seems to have given up on himself when i really thought this lad was full of talent but after playing for Tottenham when he was at his peak...i think he shouldn't have gone to Madrid because these clubs dont give second chances when you dont perform well and this is his case which has greatly affected him.

Transfer rumours:

New Barcelona manager Xavi wants the club to re-sign Spain midfielder Thiago Alcantara, 30, from Liverpool. The real question is whether Barcelona has the finances to bring in new players?
Manchester United are working on a deal to persuade former Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane to replace Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as manager at Old Trafford. Zidane in Manchester? I think the chances for that are very small and that Zidane is the main favorite to coach the French national team.
Real Madrid are still monitoring Manchester United and France's 28-year-old midfielder Paul Pogba. This transfer saga around Pogba really takes too long. Where Pogba will eventually go ?
Inter Milan and Denmark midfielder Christian Eriksen, 29, who hasn't played since suffering a cardiac arrest on the pitch at Euro 2020, wants to return to former club Ajax. I guess not as a player but in some other function?

I think they should sell Sterling. Yeah he has got the age but he has lost the touch like he used to and plus there are lot of new and young players with potential to play in that area and develop. Also Sterling is also looking for options to switch to and get some more playing minutes and honestly they should let him go. It's win-win for both team and the player.

If he wants more playing minutes, he obviously does not want to go to a top level club, because the top clubs already have old players who probably play better than him (of course, this depends on the club). I do not know where he will go, but most likely to some mid-level club. I myself have noticed that recently Rahim has been playing worse than before
Pep Guardiola already doesn't like his style of play so the fate of his decision is still on the verge of leaving, there are rumors that if Sterling doesn't develop in his style of play until January then Pep Guardiola plans to loan him to Barcelona of course this will make Pep happier so Sterling is at the club. there will be less shine than in Mancity with it.
However, in my opinion, this is still a rumor and no clear decision has been made before the transfer window is opened.

https://www.si.com/soccer/manchestercity/transfer-rumours/man-city-forward-to-push-for-loan-move-if-game-time-doesnt-improve-by-january-increased-likelihood-of-departure-among-club-sources

Rumors do not come out of nowhere all the same, if there was such talk in the press or elsewhere, it means something leaked to the media from the club. I do not know how he can help Barcelona, because they have a completely different style of play, whether he can adapt to it - I do not know. I have a feeling that he will often sit on the bench there, too, in case of a transition

It is speculated that Manchester United are willing to sell their 28-year-old attacking midfielder Jesse Lingard in January. He is worth €22m now. He hasn't had very good years at Manchester United so far. West Ham signed him on loan last season and he performed really great. He got 9 goals and 5 assists. After he's come back to Manchester United, he hasn't played very good. And I think that it would be the right thing to do for them to sell him. By the way, they aren't going to be able to get a transfer fee for him as he will have six months left on his contract in January.

Well, to some degree there is the problem that some players get totally ruined by these high salaries. I am sure his contract was absolutely awesome when he signed it with Madrid and he knew that even sitting on the bench all day long just brings him 15 million and I guess even more. He didn't even need to play, but when Madrid one the CL or any other title, he still cashed in. Then there are players like Messi and Ronaldo who get crazy high salaries and yet want to score every game, win every game and break every record.

Just as you said, I wasn't even sure he was still with Madrid... Cheesy

I'm not surprised about Gareth Bale and Marcelo. Just because of the age and both have not played a big role in the team lately anyway. But that Real also wants to get rid of Isco, that comes as a bit of a surprise. With Bale I can well imagine that he will leave to Newcastle in the winter. They have after the acquisition of the Saudis a lot of money and urgently need reinforcement. Perhaps Marcelo is also a short-term option for Newcastle.

Marcelo should just move over to Manchester United since he has a good    and great understand on the pitch with Cristiano Ronaldo,I don't know why I'm having the feeling Ole Gunner Solskjaer time will be up soon at Manchester United and Zidane will be in charge soon.

Eddie Howe has been named as Newcastle's new head coach with a contract until the summer of 2024. Eddie Howe is also a good coach. Bournemouth's glory days were brought by Eddie Howe, who moved Bournemouth from the bottom of league 2 and into the Premier League, then helped them stay there for five seasons. Newcastle will undoubtedly be the same after Eddie Howe joining. Welcome to the club, Eddie! Best wishes.

I actually was expecting to see a much more qualified manager at Newcastle. But I don't want to be prejudiced also. As long as Eddie Howe creates a strong game plan and Newcastle get the right players for the team, they can still become very successful. Leicester became the champions with Ranieri even if they didn't have a very fascinating squad then. I can't even imagine what Newcastle can do with big transfers and a strong lineup.
A good solid appointment. A man with a footballing brain, honest approach and meticulous in detail. Newcastle fans must see the logic in that. It's a building process with financial backing to make it work in the long term. Take it from an Leicester city fan, you have to consolidate and build. Like you have said, you were expecting a more qualified manager, but there has to be a middle man. You can't just go straight and get someone like pep or Klopp. Eddie took Bournemouth from the brink of relegation out of the football league to the premier. I think this is a great appointment from a non Newcastle fan.
You know what this Eddie Howe appointment tells me? They signed him until 2024, which is not short period of time, that's like what 3 seasons or so? That means they are not going to really change things around in a single off-season.

Apparently, it might be a rumour but looking at the fact that, Raheem Sterling has been sidelined by Pep doesn't make the rumour any less true. Of course, there would be talks secretly floating about but then, that doesn't mean it could all end like we had it between Kane, Manchester City and Spurs.

On the part of Sterling moving to Barcelona, wouldn't be such a good idea looking at his style of play and the Camp Nou players. Sterling better suits into the Manchester City team having the required pass and can hold on to the ball a lot more than it would be in Barcelona where you don't have to run so much or even hold on to the ball. Well, City only advocates for a change of style to suit the changes in the EPL with Chelsea being top predators and all that. A lot could still happen before the transfer window opens.

Marcelo should just move over to Manchester United since he has a good    and great understand on the pitch with Cristiano Ronaldo,I don't know why I'm having the feeling Ole Gunner Solskjaer time will be up soon at Manchester United and Zidane will be in charge soon.

IIRC there are many rumours reporting that Marcelo prefers move to Brazil and I too think so that he will. Ronaldo-Marcelo paired up very well at Madrid and Marcelo to United seems to be a good one but don't think that it will happen. I think primer league most extremely hard for Marcelon and he not great or can play well move to primer league, always loss position and forget back to defender position when help for counter attack, maybe back to his country league ia the best option for Marcelo as success player on Real Madrid.

Transfer rumors:
Mauricio Pochettino will consider getting back to the Premier League when he wraps up at PSG and could make viable at Manchester United. Someone that is battling even with that PSG crew then just imagine how it's gone be at Man United. Man United would be crazy if they choose to go for this person, I mean Mauricio Pochettino. Manchester United need the best mentor like Antonio Conte or Zinedine Zidane to supplant Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as chief at Old Trafford.

You know what this Eddie Howe appointment tells me? They signed him until 2024, which is not short period of time, that's like what 3 seasons or so? That means they are not going to really change things around in a single off-season. I knew this much, I knew that they wouldn't do that, but I also saw so many people assumed that they would do that. What happened? They ended up with so many people being wrong, because they always said things like "oohh maybe they will offer Mbappe 2x of what Real or PSG can offer?" or "maybe they will offer 300 million for Haaland??" and so forth.

Those are the type of things that I really wanted to see, it would be very fun but I knew that it wouldn't happen right away, players wouldn't just go there for the money right off the bat. They didn't spend insane amounts for the manager and got a decent one, they will do the same for players as well. They will get better a bit, but not a whole lot overnight.

Well, that's normal. Chelsea spent huge money on mediocre players before getting it right, it took City 5 years of crazy spending to get to a level where they can compete for trophies.

Newcastle is in a relegation battle, of course they cannot attract top class players and top class managers. It will take them years as well, their priority now is to finish this season in the top 15 and to start building the foundations for next few transfer windows.

Barcelona's new manager Xavi wants to re-sign their old player Thiago Alcantara who is playing at Liverpool now. It would be a good addition to the midfield of the team surely. Thiago still has a contract running until 2024. And he must be quite happy for being a part of the team. I wonder if he would like to come back to Barcelona after hearing that Xavi are the new manager. And I'm even thinking about the probability of Messi to come back too. It would be really interesting to see Messi and Xavi in this situation as they were teammates but now one of them is a manager.  Grin

they have a relationship between one with a strong bond of friendship.
on the other hand it would be very good if they paired up again at United but when you hear Marcelo's statement about this maybe it can be understood because he is not young anymore even though there is no clause on contract extension at this time I think Real Madrid will definitely keep this player because his contribution is still needed at madrid.
On the other hand, when he really wants to go to Brazil, I think this is understandable because Brazil is the first place that made his name.
maybe if he doesn't renew his contract he will come back to Fluminense because marcelo I think is a very loyal player and he has only played for madrid and Fluminense at club level.

Marcelo's contract ends in Jun 2022 and this season he hasn't played much for Madrid. Seems to me he is likely gonna make switch to Brazil if contract extension is not offered by Madrid. It also depends upon player and there were some reports that actually Marcelo want to make the switch to Brazil Serie A.

Barcelona's new manager Xavi wants to re-sign their old player Thiago Alcantara who is playing at Liverpool now.

And now he wants the board to sign Mohamed Salah "at all costs" [sic] next summer.

Never mind he'll probably be handed a new contract in January, it's like Barça haven't learned anything last time they went for a Liverpool mega transfer.

For reference, they signed Countinho from them for €140m back in 2018. And now they're trying to get rid of him for much less I heard.

They couldn't even fully pay off the debt for that transfer and that was when their financial situation was healthy.

Going for a €100m player while they're 1.something billion in debt is just going to tank them, notice how they can only make free transfer signings currently.

This is a wrong move for me, Kingsley Conan will do the job he wants from Salah.
Making a good use of his current players will give him results.
