Chelsea have made a 30m euro (£26.5m) bid for PSV Eindhoven's England Under-21 winger Noni Madueke, 20. A lot of money for a very young player.

Noni Madueke is actually showing good potential. So, I do not think that 30 million euros is actually too much money.
I think this is a good amount of money for a  player like him. Especially at a time when everyone is throwing 100 million transfers here and there.

Liverpool have ended contract talks with midfielder Naby Keita and will let the 27-year-old Guinea international leave on a free transfer in the summer. The player did not prove himself in Liverpool and leaves as a playing and financial failure.

Naby Keïta has not been very good for Liverpool. At least not recently.  So, I think this is not a very bad decision taken by them.
But what I understand is that he is still a very good player. So, a lot of clubs are going to be very interested to bring him to the team.

Tottenham will meet with Sporting Lisbon this week to discuss a deal for Spain right-back Pedro Porro, 23, who has agreed personal terms with the club. Porro is a very promising player and could be a great reinforcement for Tottenham.

Tottenham has conceded a lot of goals this season. And obviously, understandably they are trying to bring in defenders so that they can make the defense stronger.
Actually, a few minutes ago they were playing against Arsenal in Premier League and they conceded 2 goals in 59  minutes.
So, I think we all understand why they are trying to bring in defending players to the team.

Liverpool are also preparing for a move to sign Ruben Neves after Newcastle have started to be interested in him.

As you know Liverpool have been in search of a decent attacking midfielder for a long time. They had an eye on Bellingham and in fact they still have. However Real Madrid seem very likely to sign him as the player is eager to choose them over Liverpool. However I don't know if Neves would be a good choice for Liverpool to solve the problems in the midfield. Neves is a decent player but I think it would be better for Liverpool to sign a more skilled midfielder. I'm sure they can find the right player if they become a little more patient.

100 million is now the usual price for a player who is clearly above average. It's time to get used to it. A lot of people still think that 100 million is a big number for a transfer. And a player needs to have a certain set of skills and proof of performance to get a transfer like that. I think people need to understand that recently the world has gone through big inflation.

And that have decreased the value of money significantly. So right now a hundred million transfer is not that rare. If a player does have at least a little bit of potential, he can get a 100 million transfer. In this case, I think that's what is happening. No way I think that this player deserves a transfer this big, but thanks to inflation. I personally do not believe that Chelsea should have made this transfer.

In as much as Arsenal missed out on Mudryk i think its good business from Arsenal. He's not worth that much. Because a player is good doesn't mean you should always break the bank to get him. Mudryk shouldn't be worth more than 45m. Chelsea have been signing a lot of players since the takeover but not many of them are doing really well. I do not know their plans for all these deal but they can't just go about signing every available player.

This Mudryk deal that Arsenal missed out on is very painful. We have really missed out on a lot of players that we really expected to join us, from Raphinha the first time, to Felix to now Mudryk.
I was wondering who we are going to sign now since Mudryk is gone to Chelsea and it is looking like Trossard from Brighton is an option for Arsenal right now.

Arsenal did miss out on Mudryk but for some reason I feel like Arsenal just baited Chelsea to get this player for a price that is absolutely unbelievable. Raphinha can still be a good option for Arsenal. But at this point, I am not sure that no one else is going to hijack this player from them again. Arsenal is having a good performance this season. But they are not being able to be very successful in the transfer market. Because any player whom that are being targeted by Arsenal is actually being bought by some other club in the end.

I also agree that 100 million euros is not an incredible amount of money for transfers anymore. It is not a big deal for rich teams as well. Maybe not all of those players deserve this much money for their transfer fee but the current transfer market is like this. There is nothing to do about it.

I hope that Mudryk manages to meet the expectations. He has been signed with big hopes for sure. Chelsea just do their best to improve their productivity as for scoring goals. They are still having problems on scoring multiple goals in a game. It happened against C. Palace as well.

Lionel Messi does not have the reputation of being greedy, but to be honest i think he just wants to earn as much money as possible than any other professional footballer. The reason why FC Barcelona is almost bankrupt now with more than 1 Billion € of debts is mainly the fact that they have paid Lionel Messi around 110 Million € per season during his last 5-year-contract and that was just not sustainable once the covid pandemic hit.
Then they had to offer Lionel Messi a contract which was paying him way less than 110 M€ obiously but still a good contract and Lionel Messi did not agree to that. So i think he could have easily stay at Barca if he did not care for money but he decided to leave and to continue to earn big time at PSG. So Messi is just as greedy as everyone else.

I think it's not a matter of being greedy or not but in the end it comes down to choice.
Regardless of what we initially thought that Ronaldo would not play at Al Nassr because in terms of skills and dribbling he could still play in Europe but in the end he went to this club. it is not impossible that this also happened to Messi in the end.
Even though we don't really like it, believe it or not, Ronaldo's coming to the Arab League is clearly like opening the door for several European players who will be easily recruited here and it's not impossible for Messi in this case because still with money everything can still be turned around.

I don't think so. You shall see that arsenal was winning against totenham. Having 8 points gap to the arsenal was a lot. Arsenal will be facing manchester united which will become a very strong opponent that may prevent arsenal to get full points but with the current performance from arsenal and im not even feeling doubt if the club will able to win against MU. City will be also facing totenham. These matches very important for both. If city keeps performing like when it was against united and i think that draw may become the result against totenham.

Actually, Chelsea might perform better if they keep finding the coach. But that is not going to be the optimal decision. The optimal decision is going to be to change the coach. But as we heard they are not doing that. They would rather find the coach and get more players on the team. That is obviously an experiment that might go wrong.

The bottom line is every decision they take right now is going to be very controversial. And I actually respect Chelsea they are trying to take their own decisions without being under any influence from the outside world.
