Well, talk about a hijack, Everton already had an agreement with Arnaut Danjuma, IIRC the player had already undergone his medicals with the Merseyside club and the contract was almost signed; but in a surprising turn of events Spurs have come out from nowhere and completely snatched the player out of Everton's grasp. I don't blame Danjuma anyway, Everton look like a confused club right now, one that's unstable and would prolly be relegated, Lampard has been sacked but that is not the solution to their problems, the fans want the owners to sell the club, which they have refused; all of these issues might prove to be a bad enviroment for Danjuma's progress, thus Spurs might be a better option for the player.

i don't think so. Experienced player has still needed by newacstle. Those players may be really helpful for the team. it's not about how popular or unpopular the player is but it's about how important those players for the club. If those players who have been targeting by newcastle will be giving so many benefits to the club and then why not?
